Now, THAT has got me convinced.

But what do you say he and his family go up to Bagiuo? I visited Banaue (the rice terraces) once, and looking back, it could be a good place for Manny to do his roadwork and exercises for a couple of weeks while his family surrounds him.

And that place is pretty elevated! Don't know really how many feet above sea level, but, as I can remember t'was among the clouds!

Its just that if Manny comes over early, he can be pretty homesick and unable to focus on his training. The whole arrangement can be very counter-productive.

Baguio is a good place to train. I agree. He should bring his family in the U.S. so he won't get homesick

Every fighter gets homesick. JMM might be training in Mexico but at 10000+ feet of altitude he isnt anywhere near home. Pacquiao needs to get away from his country all together.

ya altho his ko of 3k was impressive
it kinda wasnt at the same time
he missed alot of shots and even the ones that did land, not many were landen too clean
i chalk this up to just not taken 3k 2 serious
          which is ok
i mean he obvioulsy didnt train as hard as he could have, no matter what he says
and it was still enough to take 3k out in 4
i do however feel it will be a completely different pac gettin in the ring for the rematch
          atleast i hope so
i dont want there to be any excuses when jmm beats him
          Again

Overtraining the biggest myth in boxing today.
Im not saying train everyday of the year but Pac didnt even train for this guy if he had been in there with a top guy he would have got kod. Overtraining if anything these guys to train enuf today. There are exceptions Hopkins for example is never out of shape how do u think he is able to go on so long good genes is it no because he trains to perfection and never takes opponents lightly. Overtraining thats a funny one.

OK. I guess you know better than Angelo Dundee who has stated often enough that he believes (at least believed at the time when he said those things he did about it). Dundee, that guy sure believes in funny things, doesn't he? "Biggest myths" too!

Wonder how that old fella managed to transform myths to legends, like Ali, Leonard and even himself!

                  Oh, boy!

And Dundee is not the only one. Papa Sarreal, who steered the carreer of Flash Elorde is another. Some others with track records... they all believe in that "biggest myth". I'm inclined to join them as I already have. Why join somebody else based on an anonymous post?

for now this is the advantage that i see JMM has, i think he started high altitude training since Nov, so at fight time he is well condition and can do 12 rounds easy, and if he manages to survive 12 rounds probability is his going to escape a win....

so the PAC has to train harder and be 100% in top physical condition, JMM will backpedal the whole night & Manny gas tank should be full, if he hopes to catch JMM...

so PAC bring you butt to FR's wild card gym by jan 1st, 2005....

Pacquiao is about to face the biggest challenge in his career. He should leave for the U.S. after Christmas or not later than Jan. 5! That is if he wants to beat JMM!

There's money in showbusiness or entertainment, and there's pleasure in playing pool and winning. But this is for fame and country plus he will earn big money here same with the sitcoms and the commercials that he's going to make! What do pacquiao still wants? To enjoy all of it? He can't do that. He can only choose one! If i were his close friend, i'll advise him and convince him to train the earliest time possible! And make all the filipinos proud and him the most successful boxer in the Philippines!
