Exactly, same with Shaw. They just take big paychecks from HBO and sit on their ass. Just look at what is happening with Bradley-Alexander, it's probably going to end up in Atlanta in front of 5k fans.

Top Rank and Golden Boy are the only real promoters in North America.

I'd like to see a full arena as much as anyone else, but I'm wondering if the attendance for Martinez-Williams had any effect on your entertainment during the fight?

They dont care about the ticket sales like that in Vegas and Atlantic City the casinos pay big money to host these fights, and then they buy up a lot of the seating and give it out to guests, sht hang out side of the stadium of most fights if attendance is low they will let you in for free.

Top Rank and Golden Boy would never sign Martinez because he only has three fights in him left. They'll only promote long term investments. No point in spending so much money on Martinez because he's retiring soon.

Sergio will never be a big draw. There arent enough Argentinian fight fans for that to happen.

This is also why i dont see Martinez-Floyd ever happening. Why would Floyd fight a high risk, low reward fight like Martinez, when he could fight a easier fight in Amir Khan and make more money? boxing is a business...

(i know the last part of my post was off topic, lol)

Martinez and Pwill are both gentleman. There was like no promotion from what I saw. Pacquiao vs Margarito was heavily advertised and had a 24/7. Real boxing fans would pay to see Martinez but he doesnt speak a lick of english. The casual fan wont back that as much a english speaking fighter
