As starjammes said above you can hear Morton say to himself "oh yeah gonna be a lot of holding tonight..." like he was getting turned on at the idea of getting involved and maybe docking some points.
He wasn't just saying it to himself. Someone (sounds like Peterson to me) is yelling to the ref about the holding, and Morton kind of responds to himself.
Also, anyone who thinks Morton distracted either of them...
