Sergio Martinez was WEIGHT DRAINED WITH A CATCHWEIGHT, so how come he won?

Just another catchweight fight where the catchweight had ABSOLUTELY NO EFFECT ON THE FIGHT because of the 24 hr rehydration catchweight.

So what happened to catchweights turning fighters into zombies & physically destroying fighters body & rendering them useless?

I feel absolutely vindicated making the 24 hr rehydration rule makes Catchweights criticism irrelevant thread:

Add sergio martinez vs paul williams to the list of big fighters made to use catchweights yet still won:

    Bernard Hopkins vs Oscar
    Pernell vs Chavez
    Hopkins vs Pavlik
Ray Leonard vs Tommy Hearns 2
    Terry Norris vs Meldrick Taylor

I guess we can only criticize catchweights when pac uses it & beats them even though it has zero effect on the fight.

    ANOTHER DOUBLE STANDARD EXPOSED.

    Catchweights = Placebos.

catchweights have absolutely zero effect on the outcome of fights. its more of a false sense of security for fighters.

for elite fighters, a couple of lbs dont matter. people are so ****** to think the reason why oscar lost was because of the catchweight hence the prominence of using the catchweight as a excuse to discredit wins & fighters.

24 rehydration rule absolutely makes criticisms irrelevant.

**** catchweights, all fighters should weigh in at the division weight limits (140,147,154,160,etc) no need for catchweights, refer to sergio's comments in my sig.

sergio was 154 champ not long ago and moved up not out of weight issues but because he wanted pavlik

the whole 158 thing was seriously pointless

and this was a term demanded by a guy renouned for "fighting anyone anywhere" and a rematch of a fight he had won

                  2 lbs.......

paul wasn't gonna fight unless sergio agreed to a catchweight, so i can care less if catchweights have an effect or not. for whatever reason pac, floyd, pwill etc ask for catchweights i don't care, it needs to stop cuz it gives people a reason to complain or critic it so get rid of it!
