I dont give a **** what anyone says, Vargas looked like complete ****, using that defensive stance like Mayweather does is not effective for him because Mayweather ANTICIPATES the punch and uses it to counter, he doesnt use it to take a punch and move up and down to take more punches. Vargas clearly showed me he has enough holes in his defense to be caught with several combinations from many angles. This style is not only bad for him, but very boring for me to watch on TV. De La Hoya would still beat him to the punch and at this rate, put it on him and knock his ass out. This guy caught him several times, but doesnt have the power. Vargas looked like ass.

When he knocked him down in Round 3 I saw the look on his face I thought he was gonna come out for round 4 gunz a blazing. Good thing he didnt, or else he WOULD of been caught with a punch. Cong**** on Vargas for finally learning self-discipline.

Please, im sure there were 3 fights at the box office, 2 fights when cotto entered the ring, and then 25 arrests during the victory celebration.

HBO continues to be even more and more bias. Castillejo landed some real nice left hooks that were not even called by lampley or merchant and they just continued to talk about vargas and his previous fights. Vargas pulled off a win but it's nothing to be over celebrated. I like the fight in the stands
