Kirkland- we'll see after he fights, its waaaay too premature
Cintron- paul ud, he was taking over the last fight handily
Angulo- great fight, pwill by ud
    Bundrage- pwilly by ko
    Konecny- pwill by ko
    Julio - pwill by ko
    dzindurek- great fight- pickum
cotto- pwill by wide brutal decision
lara- this year (2011), I got pwill by stoppage

I think you're waaaaay to quick to write pwill off. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYY too quick.

just because someone has power, doesn't mean it will work against paul. you're acting like all the sudden pwill is garbage. he got stunned a few times in previous fights BUT SO DOES EVERYONE.

this was the only time he gopt hurt and of the above list, NO ONE can land that punch like sergio, I think except maybe lara down the road.

well i think youre overrating him and i dont get your second comment. "just because someone has power doesn't mean it will work against Paul" ? He will always get hit and if they have equal or better power than Sergio of course it could hurt him.

Cintron arguably won every round, was outjabbing him and counterpunching him successfully. when people talk about "paul was figuring him out" i dont see that in what actually took place. wishful thinking i think as Paul has never been great at making adjustments.

be honest how many Konecny fights have you really seen lol ?

paul agruably won every round vs cintron as well, it was a close fight for two rounds.

paul is a rhythm fighter, that's what we're talking about, the first sergio fight, he got in his rhythm after the first couple rounds and won 5-6 straight rounds and probably 7 out of the last 9. against margs, he got his game really rolling around the 8-9 and won the late rounds.

against quintana, he never got it and was listless all night. he said after the fight he couldn't get it going.

against verno, he already had it going early, but you could tell when he was feeling it.

winky, same thing, winky was in the fight early till pwill got his rhythm

            (you got me on konecky)

against cintron, his left and jab were beginning to find a home. they were a little off the first two rounds but they were finding a home, so if you watch enough pwill you will see it. it's obvious-.

my second comment is saying that paul has a hell of a chin unless its one of those perfect punches. he already fought plenty of fighters with power. mathysse had plenty of power...how did that work for him? you're being amateur- just because someone has power, doesn't mean it translates into what sergio did. i mean ***in JULIO? that result is the mathysse fight all over again.

obviously i like paul a lot, but I know he has flaws. but he has big balls and is a classy guy and makes for great fights. I like sergio a lot too- both are in my five favorites.

              no he wasn't

maybe i should watch it again but from what i remember winky was just being swamped and with his guard up all the time he never had a chance to punch

i think it was the weight added to the perfect punch that did it. i was going to make a thread about this last night. when they fought at 154 paul took some of the same shots and didn't budge. add 6lbs plus what ever sergio added over night and pwill couldnt handle it. i think 154 is the best for him. there is a list of names in that divsion that he can fight.

winky most certainly was in it for a couple rounds, then paul just swarmed him.

winky wasn't doing much, but paul took about 3 rounds to get going.

agreed. i think the best at 147 will be a little too fast for paul

                      Hey Khmelnytsky

It's VERY possible that Paul Williams fought the best fighter in the world to a stanstill and won a close decision in their first fight and then got blasted out in the second fight after looking good.

That's no reason to shi t on him and act like he can barely hand a Joel Julio.

We'll see how he comes back from the ko, but you can't deny paul's resume.

He has a legit win over a prime Sergio Martinez, how many on your list could retire with that?
