Margarito hasnt shown anything at 154 that he could compete. really nobody think margarito is a top 5 lmw fighter. Martinez was a career 147 fighter but hasnt done a damn thing at 147(maybe because he was weight drained like hell and was still green hence he got knocked out by margarito).
If martinez is the same size as floyd and pacquaio do you think he is too good for them then. Can martinez make 150 with ease like Margarito can and look healthy. Its not that he is too good since Pacquaio fought far more skilled and greater boxer than martinez(marquez, morrales and barrera). The only thing martinez got over pacquaio is his size(which attribute to his punching power, punch resistance and physical strength). And you know what is so funny, you claim size dont matter but do you think a pac vs marquez at 140 is great fight. Or do you think pacquaio would steam roll marquez in the fight due to the fact pacquaio is bigger.Last edited by victorythagr8; 04-14-2011, 12:27 PM.

Why would you think it's fair when the guy couldn't even sniff the contracted weight of 150 against Margarito, and said it himself that he bit more than he could chew and he's going back down to 147 that they announced the night after the fight, the postfight press conference to be exact, a WEEK before the Martinez/Williams fight. Pacquiao felt that he overshot his limit and paid for it the day after with his aches and pains, that's what a 17 pound difference can do to anybody. But just to make you happy, your fantasy fight can happen at 154, but old school though. Same day weigh-in, an hour or two before the main event and if the price is right, I'm sure Pacquiao will be more than happy to oblige Sergio with a fight...

Translation: "Let's severly dehydrate him so he will be a zombie and Pacquiao can easily beat him."
Martinez was never extraordinary. He still isn't extraordinary. He is still the same as before, the difference is. He beat the guy who was called "the most avoided man in boxing" by knock out.
