      • Martinez-One of Margarito's Toy's

Martinez is my favorite toy said Margarito. Knockdown just on first round and finished in 7th.

          • Still on Vacation

Floyd Jr. made the best decision of not fighting Pacquiao.

            • I really didn't want to respond because it's as if Floyd fans are baiting Pacquiao fans into dissing Martinez. Sergio is a tremedous talent and that wads a great win but I have the following to say:

              1. Pac is still P4P #1. until Martinez goes up and consistantly dominates bigger men...that wont change.

              2. Yes Martinez is too big for Manny. Manny was 148 for margarito....the same exact size when he fought diaz at LW and only 3-4lbs bigger than he was when he fought Marquez and Morales at 130. So yes Martinez is right when he feels it will be a mismatch because he will hold a huge size advantage.

              3. The only guy from the lower classes who would even think about stepping in the ring with Martinez is Pacquiao. Maybe not next fight...but if there was ever a fighter with the balls to do it, it's Manny. So Floyf fans pleas cut the bull****.

              4. Floyd wont face Martinez for the same reasons he didn't want to face Stevie Johnston. A southpaw with great movement and boxing ability, that isn't that big of a draw. Sorry to bust your bubble but that fight won't happen so please get outta fantasy land. There is zero chance Floyd faces Martinez and a slightly small chance Manny will (not now but maybe in a few fights...although I doubt it).

              5. I have always stated that I felt Martinez would KO Manny and beat Floyd via wide 10-2 type of decision. He might even stop Floyd as well....but I feel he would more likely stop Manny because Manny will try to get in his kitchen and actually fight him. Again....Manny would be the only one ballsey enough to step in the ring with him, which win or lose.....Manny would still increase his legacy by taking on this fight.

Last reply...as I'll let you guys have your little fun. Kinda pathetic hat you guys are using Martinez as a way to discredit Pac. His win has nothing to do with Manny and much respect to Marivila for his performace tonight. What that has to do with Pac is beyond me....but I'm never surprised at how much Floyd fans reach.

Just like Martinez is better than Chad Dawson but fighting him makes Martinez uncompetitive agaisnt a bigger man! Floyd who is fighting ranging from WW to JMW have possibility of fighting martinez because Martinez could go down a bit to 154lbs to make fight possible, but I think he could not go down deeper to 147lbs just to reach out Pac for a fight. So, the ideal pairing should be Martinez-Floyd at 154 or Pac-Floyd at 147.
He is not better at defense, and even the most loyal *******s will concede that kuya.

Aside JMM, what small guys has Mayweather fought? Considering Mayweather rarely comes in weighing 5-7 lbs. more, if that, than what he does at the scales the day before.

                  • Margarito-Common denominator

Between Pacquiao and Martinez the common denominator is Margarito.
Who gave Martinez his first loss, it is Margarito.

I know Pac is a very good fighter but I already saw him
get timed to death against Juan Manuel Marquez. Martinez
timed Williams perfectly and Floyd is the best accurate
puncher in the sport of boxing. Manny speed would be
minimized due to Sergio and Floyd's speed. Pac biggest
asset is his speed. Against a technical guy with defensive
game, Pac would not look dominate. I'm not hating on
Pac but just stating what I feel. I didn't just jump on
the Martinez bandwagon. I been giving him his props.
He fights his heart out and bounces back from adversity.
clottey was a joke, cant blame a guy for a career high payday, im sure he wanted to get out of the bronx....

ok, dead horse.... YES, if you are a DEFENSIVE fighter, you will get hit less (thats the point).... if you are an OFFENSIVE fighter, you leave yourself open to get hit (but you get the KOs).... floyd will ALWAYS look good in the punchstats because he throws only to add points.... hence the accuracy hype.... lets see his accuracy % if he threw solid combinations and actually pressed the action against a fighter of sergio's quality... TRUST ME, it wouldnt be pretty for floyd.... he would leave himself open and get rocked the way he did against shane (thats why floyd decided to jump back in his shell and potshot after that close call)... pac on the other hand, CHOOSES to mix it up (the way sergio does) in the attempt to make it a fight... he gets hit (the same way sergio did in martinez/williams 1) but it pays off when he gets the KO's.... whatever flavor you prefer, claiming that one fighter is CLEARLY superior to the other is baseless.... it just reflects your preference of a boxers style...

PLEASE dont forget what happened in martinez/williams 1... martinez was getting tagged relentlessly (although he rolls with punches, he was STILL getting hit... ESPECIALLY since he keeps his hands down).

im just saying, if sergio kept his distance and pot-shotted to a split decision??? would EVERYBODY be on his **** right now????
