I cant say people are more skilled than pac, cos pac is fotd and p4pn1. He marks peoples faces up and stops them. So Pac must be more skilled with more ability.
its not that clear cut dude....
pac gets accolades from his resume & performances.
    factor in clever matchmaking.

    • Sergio Martinez is right, Pac is the better fighter of the two, however in a H2H match-up in a fair weight, Martinez will be just too big, too, talented, too good. I don't see Pac stepping up to the plate. Martinez will beat Pac. However, P4P wise and overall Pac is the better fighter. He just can't compete with the elite at 154+

It would be interesting to see if Floyd will But, I won't hold my breath after last night.

I don't care how this sounds, I don't care what Floyd fans say, but honestly I think Pac would fight Martinez before Floyd fights Martinez. And, since I don't see Pac fighting Martinez then for damn sure I don't see Floyd fighting.

But, we will see and I hope I am wrong.

      • Sergio Martinez is not thinking about Pac he was asked about a potential Mayweather showdown in the past so to me he clearly wants that fight two great highly skilled boxers in the ring together Floyd should take this fight I think he can win it a win over Martinez will enhance his Legacy more than a Pac win would. the best southpaw in the world against the best technical Boxer in the world high speed chess at its finest oh lets do it

with an open mind, watch his footwork, his head movement, punch placement, punch accuracy, punch volume... pac is a complete fighter. if emmanuel steward can give pac credit, why cant some forum guys??? ignore all the *******s, REAL boxing people give him his dues.

manny would EASILY duck that martinez left hook... floyd would dodge that left hook as well.... that left hook was reminiscent of pac's hook that KO'd hatton.... right on the button. i know everybody is on sergio's **** right now, but williams was an idiot for being open for that punch. sergio even said paul was WAAAAY to open.
A reluctant Joshua Clottey was tagging Manny up like
it was not even difficult and he hardly through anything.
I know Pac is a very good fighter but I already saw him
get timed to death against Juan Manuel Marquez. Martinez
timed Williams perfectly and Floyd is the best accurate
puncher in the sport of boxing. Manny speed would be
minimized due to Sergio and Floyd's speed. Pac biggest
asset is his speed. Against a technical guy with defensive
game, Pac would not look dominate. I'm not hating on
Pac but just stating what I feel. I didn't just jump on
the Martinez bandwagon. I been giving him his props.
He fights his heart out and bounces back from adversity.

I know you are pointing out Sugar Q's outlook not being
correct but yours is a lil tainted as well. Floyd mentioned
both. Martinez to me is the best fighter in the world
because he has been fighting real threats while Pacquiao
hasn't. Floyd needs to fight more inorder to get the real
props and respect. Martinez is top dawg on my list.
The guy is a great fighter.
I have to agree its very tough to say pac is pnd for pnd #1 when martinez has topped him in every department. pac is the in and hot thing right now and popular, and that is what makes him pnd for pnd, but when u take the hype out of the equation , martinez has faced real top competeion in their prime ,taken a lot more risk and simply has a more expensive skill set than pac does.it goes to show u dont always get what u pay for and sometimes the best things in life are free thanks hbo!

            • Pac is P4P the best, IMO Martinez has a case for #2 but Floyd does also. Yes Pac took a year off this year but you can't forget his run in 08 and 09.

              • Mayweather will never fight Martinez!!!

He won't fight Pacquiao, how much more Martinez?

                If Pacquiao-Mayweather won't happen in 2011...

As a Pacquiao fan, I want to see where he will hit the wall...
A Pacquiao-Martinez fight would be great to the boxing fans... Should serve as a farewell fight!!!

I doubt it. Floyd already showed interest when asked
about a possible fight with Martinez. Roach never mentioned
Martinez AT ALL. Arum thought that Paul Williams was too
much of a mismatch in sizes and Pac flat out said "NO" when
he was asked about fighting Paul Williams.

Martinez has always said Floyd was the best and it would be an honor to fight him. I would love to see Floyd accept the challenge.
no BS homie, save the name dropping for someone who easily gets impressed. LOL.

basing off of how floyd looked compared to shane, he looked big. i think floyd makes 154-156 easy... the size difference ISNT BS... pac needs to stay at 140-147.... the dude is small. i cant wait to see pac/floyd in the ring, you guys will see the size difference.

either way, ITS OFFICIAL. sergio WANTS it.... lets see if youre boy steps up.

I agree. A fight with Martinez would be a career defining fight that would dare Floyd to be great. I'm sure Team PBF is discussing this fight right now. You can't be in or around 154 and be considered P4P #1 without beating Martinez.
