I agree. After the Mosley win, Floyd was asked
if he would fight Martinez and Floyd said he would
be interested in the fight. To me, Mayweather Jr/Martinez
would be far more competitive that Mayweather/Pac.
Not because I think Pac is not good BUT the fact that
a technical fighter would beat Pac. Pac has the advantage
because of his speed. If you get him in the ring with a guy
that actually has patient and strengths are counter punching,
defense and ring generalship then Pac loses his advantage.
There is a reason Pac's opponents have been bigger,
slower aggressive fighters.

i honestly think that pac would get impatient and open himself up if he was to fight a defensive fighter at this point... matched against someone his own size, pac can only lose by decision.... and floyd loves decisions.
floyd/pac would be too close to put money on, IMO...
if martinez was a WW, pac/martinez would have been a DREAM MATCH...
especially since sergio keeps his hands low, pac would catch him....
with the current weight difference, martinez would brutalize pac.

skilled for Pacquiao. Did you see that left hand he caught
Williams with? Manny is open for all kinds of punches because

I agree that Martinez size is enormous, and this would probably be the biggest reason why he would whoop Pac's ass should there be a fight between the two, but to say that he has more boxing skills than Pac, I doubt it. This what they all thought, those who fought Pacman, I am bigger than him, said Diaz, Dela Hoya, Hatton, Cotto, Clottey, and recently Margarito but they all end up in the canvass or quittin.
