  • Floyd is trapped...

Martinez is now waiting for a possible best opponent (Floyd Mayweather) @ 160 lbs Middleweight Division. On the lower weight class Manny Pacquiao is guarding the 140 to 154 lbs Division ... Where will Floyd Mayweather go ?Nowhere to go for Floyd, he'd probably choose to go to prison than face either of those two southpaws...
Floyd Sr.: "I will never let Lil Floyd fight southpaws again.."

        1. "manny is too small, it is a mismatch"
        2. "floyd is a fight we could make, he is a great fighter"

        interpretation:
        1. PAC IS TOO SMALL (damn, is it that hard to comprehend, lol)
        2. FLOYD CAN MAKE WEIGHT, HE IS A GREAT FIGHTER (somehow, you read that sergio said that floyd was the best fighter in the world?!?!)...

ive been saying since floyd/shane.... floyd needs to step up and get in the ring with sergio. floyd is backed in a corner, he has 2 choices.
your boy floyd didnt DARE mention either guys' names. HAHA
        .
whether you believe pac is easy work, your boy is having a mental/emotional meltdown at the fact that **** is getting real... spot light is on, he needs to man up. the boxing world is giving him 2 choices.

lets see who your boy chooses. BOTH are too offensively gifted.
floyd cant handle a solid jab, and he cant handle combinations...
he can shoulder roll all night, but it wont win him the fight.
I believe when Floyd was asked about fighting Martinez
he said that it is possible and he already tried to fight Pac.
I know you are pointing out Sugar Q's outlook not being
correct but yours is a lil tainted as well. Floyd mentioned
both. Martinez to me is the best fighter in the world
because he has been fighting real threats while Pacquiao
hasn't. Floyd needs to fight more inorder to get the real
props and respect. Martinez is top dawg on my list.
The guy is a great fighter.

            • If Floyd-Martinez doesn't happen, I would like to see Martinez-Pirog for a unification at MW.

I know there are talks of Martinez-Bute, but is HBO really not going to sign Martinez to a contract deal? Because, Bute is with showtime now. That fight will be on Showtime not HBO. HBO would be ****** to let that happen but good for us.

Pacquiao loses to both. Martinez and Floyd are too technical
and defensive for Pac. On top of that, Both have equal to more
speed than Pacquiao, so his big speed advantage wouldn't mean
much against either Floyd and Sergio. Manny is open all day and
gets hit way too much and cleanly. I say if Floyd fights aggressive,
he puts Pac to sleep or Roach throws in the towel. Martinez is
way too big and skilled for Manny. Manny dominates brawlers
like Mosley does. Boxers will always kick their asses.

it from a open minded perspective. Sergio is too big and
skilled for Pacquiao. Did you see that left hand he caught
Williams with? Manny is open for all kinds of punches because
of his lack of defense. I think Sergio would put Manny in
                  the hospital.
i dont know dude... i havent seen pac get hit with something he didnt let someone hit him with.... all those big uppercuts that gets landed on pac was through his guard... i havent seen a solid hook landed on pac in ages. pac is too quick on his toes & his head movement is unmatched.... i understand that it pains some people to give pac credit, but really WATCH his fights....
with an open mind, watch his footwork, his head movement, punch placement, punch accuracy, punch volume... pac is a complete fighter. if emmanuel steward can give pac credit, why cant some forum guys??? ignore all the *******s, REAL boxing people give him his dues.

manny would EASILY duck that martinez left hook... floyd would dodge that left hook as well.... that left hook was reminiscent of pac's hook that KO'd hatton.... right on the button. i know everybody is on sergio's **** right now, but williams was an idiot for being open for that punch. sergio even said paul was WAAAAY to open.

Like I already said if Floyd or Pac don't accept Martinez' challenge I would view Martinez as P4P the best right now. I don't know what dude didn't understand but Martinez is on record saying that Floyd is the best and he would do whatever it took to make a fight with him then for Martinez to say Manny would be a mismatch says it all especially with Freddie Roach recently saying size and weight doesn't matter it's all about skills. Out it all together, Martinez doesn't think Manny has the skills to compete because Floyd isn't that much bigger than Manny.
