Martinez would probably win but embarrass Floyd? Wouldn't bet
on it. I think Martinez shares my opinion as well because he said
Pac is too small and that it would be a mismatch. Didn't hear him
say that about Floyd. What he did say was that Floyd would be
a great fight. Didn't sound like Sergio was thinking he would walk
over Floyd like you seem to think. Honestly, it just sounds like
Pac fans are a lil salty because the now fighter of the year
(In my book) and possible candidate for "KNOCK OUT OF THE YEAR"
over a live Paul Williams, said Manny is not even a challenge for
him. Probably stings a lil huh?

True. By March, Floyd's vacation should be over.

Martinez should be a good fight for Floyd.

He should have no problem making this fight. It's smooth as butter.

Cheato fights Martinez now and he gets KTFO.
You can never tell, Martinez doesn't have the granite chin of Margo, if they traded punch, he might get KTFO again.

He is not as small as Pac to elude Cheato

Martinez knows that Floyd walks around at 170 plus pounds and could make 160 comfortably and not sacrifice any of his skills. His speed would suffer a little but it would be a closer fight. Pac would be noticeably slower if he could even make a catchweight close to 160. Either way though, Pac or Mayweather, one solid left from Martinez and they are both out cold.

Dude, forget about Pacquiao. You guys should be promoting Martinez vs Mayweather. I don't see any problems making this fight happen.

Martinez is a more complete fighter today. You can't possibly compare the two, he is more technically sound and if you can believe it, seems faster.

Margarito wouldn't stand a chance with those wide looping punches.

Margarito wants NO parts of Martinez. His combination of speed and power would overwhelm poor Margs. It'd be a hell of lot worse than what Mosley was able to do. Don't kid yourself.

Martinez would definitely beat Floyd and Pac just about the same more because he's a lot bigger and a great boxer, but Floyd is naturally bigger, hence the lesser size difference.

Martinez facing a contender 2 (or more) divisions north is a different story for him..

It wouldn't be a bunch of BS if Manny didn't just fight a even bigger guy. I say the timing is perfect cause I think Martinez can make 155.

Come on man! Lets be real here. Martinez took on Kelly Pavlik
and beat him. Pavlik's power makes Margarito look like a fly
swatter. Clearly Margarito beating Martinez was a once in a
lifetime accomplishment for Margarito but at this point Margarito
shouldn't even think about getting in the ring with Martinez.
Sergio had two fights with Paul Williams and both times bested
him, with the first going to Paul. Margarito couldn't even get
Paul out of there or do the damage Martinez did to Williams.
Margarito caught Martinez at the right time 10 years ago
                    now, NO competition.
