I don't know why but 5 minutes before the fight I got an urge to put £50 on a 2nd round KO to Martinez, I did at 40-1 odds, that's £2050 coming my way!

What a KO (more brutal than Pacquiao-Hatton to me), KO and Fighter of the year.
This guy is just as big a challenge for Floyd (if you consider size AND skill) as Pacquiao). If Floyd mans up and fights and beats Pac then Sergio for the middleweight title he is genuinely in the conversation about GOAT (only in the conversation, not saying he is the GOAT)

he deserves a lot of credit for that KO because Williams is suppose to be known for a GREAT CHIN! Martinez is a SUPERSTAR NOW! Credit to him! Williams will be back but I always thought his defense was weak, you can't keep taking punches just because you can Martinez vs Mayweather or who ever, they can no longer use the excuse that "he is not a draw"

Absolutely right! Martinez is a SUPERSTAR indeed. I'll be the first to admit I thought Paul would come back and win a wide margin. The way Paul came out in round 1 I thought he would get Martinez outta there. I was completely shocked. Martinez hit him in that sweet spot. I knew when he hit the canvas and wasn't moving that it was over. This just made Pacmans win over Marg look very pedestrian!

For those who are saying it was a lucky punch, not true....I thought the same at 1st but recorded the fight and after watching it a few times, Martinez was hitting Paul quite frequently with it but just getting the distance. Actually hit P-Will with that same punch 3 times in round 2 b4 the KO...P-Will fights low and drops his hands when throwing, specially uppercuts...P-Will was fighting good but he does makes a lot of mistakes and Martinez had the power to made him paid...and he did!!! WOW...what a punch!!!
