If he chooses Mosley, then everyone will say he's just throwing his friend a bone and all the complaining about a Mosley fight would seem ****** since it was Hopkins' choice, not Arum's (obviously not true, but that's how it will appear to the public).
So unless Floyd steps up (he won't and everyone at GBP knows this), then it's a lose-lose situation... but Arum with this move has made it Hopkins' decision, not his (Arum's). So any public backlash about whatever opponent is chosen will be geared towards the guy who was given the power to choose from the list of African-American fighters that Manny is supposedly ducking.
