His reputation as a fighter? Sure, just fight Pacman and then he could ride off into the sunset win or lose. As a man? He shoots up roller rinks, beats women, threatens his own children...that reputation is tarnished for good.

Floyd's reputation as a man is not the issue here. Anyway his rep as a man is really that of a wifebeater, lower than a street-whore if you wanna push it.

But that's immaterial. The question is Can Floyd recover his rep as a fighter. Coz its pretty certain everybody in his neighborhood who isnt a paid stan is giving him looks asking him when he's going to man up.

In Floyd's mind he's prolly thinking of how to recover his rep without fighting Pac. But the reality is that he will forever be labeled a coward if the fight with Pac doesnt push through.

If Mayweather fought Martinez and won handily...or someone similar...perhaps. Right now I think he NEEDS to fight Pacquiao.

              he can....IF he fights PACQUIAO.
outside the ring he's a grown man and needs to take care of his bizzniz.
inside da ring...PACQUIAO is his main objective. its clearly up to him where his rep will be remebered.

You really think Floyd will fight Martinez?

Just so you know Martinez has more varied skillsets than Floyd. All Floyd has over Martinez is defense and that in itself isnt a huge advantage for Floyd since Martinez is slick as sh_t.

And let's not mention he's a lot bigger than Floyd and he's a SOUTHPAW.

The reality with Pac is that he has 1-2 more fight left and that he will certainly not beg for a Mayweather fight.

The excuse of paid stans regarding ODST is nothing but hypocrisy and plain uneducated idiocy because when you talk of ODST - you talk about whole year testing. Plus it has been established that there are far better ways of detecting peds.

I dont really see Mayweather fighting either Martinez and PWill. Both are southpaws which are much bigger than him.

So is there any way Floyd can recover his rep without fighting Pac?
He can actually... he can do recover his reputation... behind bars that is !!!
