It's impossible to justify a fight for either Pac or Floyd right now if they don't fight each other, period.

It's not about being a ******* or a Floydiot or whatever name-calling we can muster. It's not even about fighting a fighter coming off a significant win because no matter what, both of them are a mismatch against other opponents at 147 or below.

I know both won't take Williams or Martinez coz they could whoop Pac's and Floyd's asses. But nothing else comes to mind that would be a great sell and competitive at the same time, including Mosley and Marquez.

So my guess is whoever has the best name value would get it. Mosley is definitely in the running.

Decent article. Good points. But the only reason Pac's camp would take this fight is not because of Shane being a gentleman, a hall of famer and someone who puts butts in the seats. It's because Shane is on the decline.

I'm sure everyone saw the Freddy Shakes video after the Dela Hoya v. Pac fight when Freddy was asked since he accepted a fight with Oscar why not grant a fight with Shane. Freddy's reply was "Oscar is no Shane". Pac's camp wanted nothing to do with Shane at the time. Shane was a threat.

Look at the pattern my brethren. Pac fights opponents on the decline or who have been coming off some bad fights.
