He's been a shot, decrepit piece of meat for about 4 years now. He wouldn't have lost to Cotto in his prime, struggled against Mayorga, beat a shook Margarito who didn't prepare properly (I do believe Marg's excuse that he had weight issues) and was lackluster against Mora even though he should've gotten the nod. What does him fighting Pacman solve or answer?

Pac can't have any more Clottey/David Diaz type opponents. At least Cotto and Margs were bigger guys with a puncher's chance and they got their licks in.

He needs a challenge. He either fights JMM for a 3rd time, Mayweather or goes for the winner of Martinez/Williams II for a 9th division title.

You're all ****!n idiots. Mosley knocked the **** out of a "weight-drained" Margarito (147lbs) 3 fights ago, yet he's "unworthy".

Yeah Mosley struggled with Mayweather, but doesn't everyone!?!?! Come the **** on people!!! Marquez was shutout by Mayweather too, even hit the canvas, so wtf?! Is Marquez worth crap now too?

Yeah he "struggled" with Mora, but Mora ran away all goddamn night, Mosley was literally running after the guy. How could he hit what he can't catch? Fact is Mosley won that fight and was robbed, he's the only won that threw punches and was the aggressor.

That was pathetic. Those reasons were a lousy argument and basicly stated that Shane should get the shot because he's a nice guy and not a hypocrite and should get a hall of fame ceremony that involves him being beaten to a pulp and fans being charged $50-60 bucks for a waste of the best fighter in the worlds' time.
Yes, Mosley lost that fight against Floyd(in which, he quit), had he come back from that fight with a strong win against a respectable opponent, he would have a stronger case for why he deserves this opportunity, but instead he drawed to a bum. What Mr. Marley fails to realize is that after you lose you must come back and win your next fight if you want a big fight like Pacquaio.
Those guys may not be big draws already but so what? that's why they promote the fight, have 24/7 etc. Boxing needs new stars and this is the way to make them. Not giving washed up hall of famers fights they have no business being in.
