if Shane couldnt handle Floyds attack...

How the *** does he expect to handle the sport's best offensive fighter?? Floyd took the fight to Shane and picked him apart...mentally and physically, Pac will probably be the first to ever KO Shane.

Shane chose Forrest when nobody else would. Went back for seconds after getting spanked. Same thing with Winky. And in both instances he was red hot at the time. While he's on his last legs with nothing to lose, why would he be afraid? I don't want to see that matchup and agree Pac would take him apart. But Shane isn't the kind of guy who lacks confidence in himself.

It wasn't his offense it was his boxing ability and counterpunching ability that he couldn't handle. That being said Manny's footspeed will give Shane so many problems it will be hard to watch.

Shane did not have a problem with Floyd's power he had a problem with his counter punching.

Correct . Manny is a much easier match for Shane than Floyd because his style suits him better.

Pacquiao is not a counterpuncher. Pacquiao is also smaller than both Mayweather and Mosley. Mayweather and Mosley are only 2" apart in reach and 1" apart in height. Mayweather seemed to be the physically stronger of the two on fight night.
Pacquiao's reach and height are short, but his handspeed and foot movement compensate for that.

With that said, Mosley hasn't looked good enough in his last 2 fights to be considered a threat. He has always struggled against slick or defensive fighters like Mora/Mayweather[which Pacquiao is neither but he is a mover with handspeed], he likes come forward fighters just like Pacquiao likes them. 2011 Mosley loses to Pacquiao. If you put Mosley in there with come forward fighters, he stops them all day. Mosley stops Margarito prime or not, Mosley stops Mayorga, Mosley stops any version of Vargas, Mosley stops Hatton. Just feed him brawlers and he'll knock them out. But slick/defensive/movers, na forget it.

Lol, funny thread, Shane is only being considered because he couldn't handle Mayweather's attack, If he could he wouldnt be getting mention as a potential Pacquiao opponent.

one thing you gotta admire about Shane, he dont give a ****...that dude will fight anyone

with that said, people who have followed Shane's career, especially the latter part will know; the guy is very inconsistent

he either looks like a million bucks in the ring or just some old guy...you never know what you're gonna get

with two bad showings, maybe he's due

and what a war it would be if it was the 'million dollar looking' Shane going in there with The Congressman
