Give A Convincing Argument Why Pacquiao Can Beat Leonard Prime VS Prime

For real. I seen in the latest pac vs duran thread that some prominent pacheads think manny would win a ud against Sugar Ray Leonard. Im not saying thats ignorant yet but, I would like to hear a valid explanation of why somebody would think this.

The only argument I can give is that although Sugar Ray was def. faster than Pac, once Pac realized that Sugar's punches couldnt hurt him, his confidence would grow and he would throw his normal 100 punches per round. Thats my view anyway, I think if Manny did beat him, not saying that he would, but if he did it would be because of his workrate. I think he would outwork him but Sugar Ray would Def. land alot of punches on Manny.

Black boxers get rated highly due to their fantasy fights. That's why they make them out to be better than what they really are.

Get real. Leonard would've killed Pacquiao. If a slow Margarito could almost knock his ass down with a body shot imagine what Ray would've done. Leonard was a big Welterweight too. I'm not a black dude either, but I'm not afraid to express my opinion that I think Pacquiao is overrated even though he's good.

manny is a great fighter but really, he's nothing more than a blown up lightweight. its a testament to his greatness that he is fighting at 147 even. as for ray vs manny, that's an unfair fight. what's the point of this thread? to reinforce your hate for pacquiao? ray leonard would thoroughly beat manny but that doesnt take away what manny's been able to accomplish in the higher weights.

Who has Pac fought at 147 & above that's even remotely close to Leonard in terms of skill or greatness?

                  A shot Oscar?
                  An average fighter in Clottey?
A blown up JWW in Cotto who is overrated as hell & folds when pressured?
                  Antonio Margarito aka walking punch-bag?

Hell, Ike Quartey could go through the versions all those fighters Pac fought without trouble.

Leonard is on another plane in terms of class. Pacquiao is a fraud.

Maybe he would maybe he wouldnt. Leonard wasnt the hardest puncher of his time. When Duran quit on him it wasnt because of his hard punches, it was because he was so damn frustrated because of his speed. Although he did have 25 KO's in 39 fights, Manny's KO percentage is just as impressive. Im not sure who would win really, Im not going to say one way or the other, Im just answering the threads question which was give a arguement as to HOW manny would win if they fought.
