Johnson is a journeyman with one decent fight under his belt. He beat RJJ while RJJ wasn't even letting his hands go. Johnson is an average fighter at best....and Tarver is better than people give him credit for. He does talk alot......that's why people root against him. He'll beat RJJ again too.

People called Johnson a journeyman fighter even before the RJJ fight and look what the Journeyman did to Roy Jones .You must not know a whole lot about Johnson because he has more than one decent fight under his belt.I give Tarver alot of credit but Johnson will be on him the entire fight and how many Top notch pressure fighters has Tarver faced in his career?I think thats when Johnsons edge in experience will play a big factor because he's fought alot of southpaws in his career and has had success against them more often than not.

Without a doubt, this will be a interesting fight, regardless.Someone said the winner of this contest will be a leading Candidate for Fighter of the Year, and i'd have to agree with them on that.

ive always respected johnson. he always seems to come up against crooked judges, so the only way he can control his destiny is to knockout fighter. he should have got the win against clinton woods in the first fight, but got robbed. i wouldnt be suprised if he won by kayo. its a tough fight to call

Out on his feet was probably the wrong choice of words, I meant stunned or wobbled... The point I was trying to make is that Johnson was hurt but didn't go down.

Tarver is definitely the bigger puncher, Johnson can only win by outworking Tarver, if he can swarm Tarver and throw a lot more punches without eating too many of Magic's left hands, he could squeak out a decision. i think Tarver is overrated and i'd love to see Johnson win, but i can see tarver taking this one. Tarver will always be the first man to force a washed up Roy Jones to lean back, a prime RJJ destroys Tarver in one round like Montell Griffin.

I agree, but feel it will be by a KO, Johnson can't use that head-first style against a solid counterpuncher like Tarver, remember where you heard it first, but this fight may not get past the 3rd or 4th round, tarver will drop the Road Warrior like a sack of potatoes and retain the light heavyweight crown (Ring Mag belt on the line - only one that counts!), while locking up fighter of the year status.

It's going to be very hard for Johnson to duplicate the success he had with Roy, against Tarver.

Johnson was able to get up into Roy's chest because Roy has a habit of retreating to the ropes. He USED to have the reflexes to avoid shots & fire back his own.

Tarver is not going to go back to the ropes. He'll use his range to keep Glen at a distance & catch him out there.

Tarver will win a fairly easy decision.
