    Is Antonio Tarver in trouble?

This could end up being a bad fight for Tarver,Johnson is a hungry fighter and will try to out work Tarver. I wonder if were in store for a upset this Saturday night, I am picking Johnson by MD.

Johnson will surley come to dance, but I think Tarver will be just to good for him. I'm thinking it could be a pretty good fight though.

Johnson will put up a good fight but Tarver's overall skills will be better at the end of the night.

It should be a good fight...the winner could have the opportunity of killing Roy Jones Jr. again since he's calling the winner out.

if johnson stays inside, and on tarvers chest, he has a real good chance of getting the decision. but if he stays out in tarvers range, that big left hand is going to close the show.... i'm thinking johnsons gonna be all over tarver and tarver is going to have to change his game plan, and dig down to pull this one out....i'm going with johnson UD....

Are you saying that two judges are going to give the victory to Johnson and one is going to have it a draw?

            Ok, I will play.

Tarver wears down Johnson and the fight is stopped in the 8th round, 2:00 in, with the ref stepping in and then Johnson gets mad.

LMFAO!Thats exactly what happened in Glen Johnsons fight against Bernard Hopkins back in 1997 but I think it was in the 10th or 11th round when the ref finally stepped in to stop the fight.I think Johnsons a better fighter now and he's defiently a more polished fighter now than when he fought B-Hop 7yrs ago.I think Glecoffes experience and ringsmarts will pay off against Tarver.I say Glen wins by UD

BTW,Johnson never went down in his fight against a primed Hopkins.DLH got Kayoed by a B-Hop bodyshot,Johnson got hit with way more of those bodyshots and never went down.

I think Tarver wins this one, he seemed the more accurate/crisper puncher against Roy.

May I ask how you base this "more accurate/crisper" comment from. Tarver never landed more than 5 punches in the second fight and it was just a one punch KO. To me Tarver is just way overrated. He couldn't KO Griffin and he looked horrible against Harding until he landed one good punch and got the stoppage. I am not going to be impressed with Tarver until he fights someone that is a good fighter besides RJJ. He did lose to RJJ the first fight and got his KO the 2nd time but their is no other big names on his record for people to say he is great or even above average. All he has done is beat fighters that RJJ had already beaten.

I agree that Tarver is way overrated. Im not saying he is great. But im basing it on the first fight he had with Roy it was clear he was scared but he was landing the more flush shots everytime he tried than Johnson did against roy in his fight.
