So what if duran took hagler the distance? He lost. Pac is better than hagler by some distance.
I don't think Pacquiao could have dominated one weight class for his whole career considering he lost to Torrecampo and Singsurat at 112 alone, then against Morales at SFW. At WW today he loses to Mayweather, at JMW he loses to Williams and would have lost to Martinez if he was there too. At LW he would have lost to Guzman. There really isn't one weight class I can see Pacquiao dominating like Hagler did MW.

I used to think Duran, now im not sure.

Duran traps Pac on the ropes, and breakss him in half, pac cant hurt Duran. But Pac would out score Duran for most of the fight.

          War.

                that's his nature.

you can't change who you are.

he can box and move and he can do that for a while but when he gets hit or pressure , pac's 1st instinct it to throw back.
Some times Pacquiao goes toe to toe because he wants to, other times he gets drawn in to brawls or cornered. His fight against DLH, he stayed away from him and only opened up in the last rounds after DLH's eyes were a bit closed. If he wants to he can fight smart, but he'd have to fight smart against Duran because Pac's defense is not great at all.

Hagler was post-prime for Leonard fight and anyway Leonard is a no-question Top 25 ATG and that would be being harsh.

Hagler learned from those early losses which is why he became the fighter he was.
