Even if Cotto, Margarito, Clottey, DLH, etc, weren't prime, they are still better than 98% of fighters in that division. Seriously, they were all at least top five in their divisions when Pacquiao fought them, what's wrong with that? Cotto and Clottey didn't look impressive against each other because they are both very good themselves, which would cause a more tactical boxer like fight, not dominate fireworks. I swear, most boxing fans have never even been to a gym before. They think if you're not the number one fighter, you're garbage and not a threat.

Hey i understand, its cause he is exciting and i agree. i love watching him fight but imo beating a margarito means nothing, but you got guys calling him the greatest and i just cant cosign on that.

i dont know if any of yall watch basketball but if you do you will understand this:

To me manny pac is like the phoenix suns off the mid-2000's. His offense is great and exciting and i love to watch it.

floyd is like the San Antonio spurs of that same era. Boring as hell but technically efficient.

guess what? the suns could never get past the spurs. Why? cause technically efficientcy almost always beats out offensive brillance.

Miguel Cotto- He arguably lost to Clottey and looked far from impressive in that fight.

Joshua Clottey- Lost to Miguel Cotto

Antonio Margarito- Looked pedestrian against journeymen Robert Garcia

Notice a pattern, SSM will be next book it, given his dynamite win against Sergio Mora lol.

BIGGER DOESN'T NECESSARILY MEAN BETTER. Yes, Pacquaio has beaten bigger guys which is commendable, but LOOK AT THE STATE OF THOSE GUYS GOING INTO THEIR FIGHTS WITH PACQUIAO. YET MANNY GETS ALL THIS CREDIT AND PRAISE FOR HIS RECENT RUN GIVE ME A BREAK I SEE RIGHT THROUGH HIS RECENT RUN. MANNY STEP YOUR GAME UP AND FIGHT A LIVE DOG. I'M TIRED OF YOU AND YOUR ISHH.......

But Pacquaio came up from 130lbs to fight these guys
Even if what you have posted are true....that's still a lot better than a 1.5 year hiatus and beating a bloated Marquez and an old SSM in Mayweather.

Doesn't Pacquiao want Marquez at 147, and isn't Pacquiao fighting an old Sugar Shane coming off 2 loses. Lol.

Then created a new commission, the since it didn't work, used "Vacation and not thinking about boxing" and just to make sure, his lover then said "No negotiations happened". Since it still won't save him, he had to punch a woman.

You got owned by the very fighter you're defending

All this trouble for a supposedly very EASY fight

At least JMM and SSM were coming off impressive knockout victories that's more than you can say for Pacquiao
