but what do you expect? Pac, like you say is an offensive fighter, so he WILL always get hit. He throws alot of combos so obviously he will be open alot. When Pac gets hit, he doesn't always go in to a shell...he exchanges - but good thing he has chin. It's just how he fights. You can make the exact opposite point regarding Floyd - that he doesn't throw alot of punches coz he's always in defensive mode. Offense vs. Defense, plain and simple
WOW Pacquiao gets hit A LOT, Not a good sign!

I wouldn't say Pac get's hit a lot, he does get hit but that's because he's aggressive, he comes to fight. You won't get hit if you don't get within distance and don't engage fighters.
Mayweather doesn't get hit as much because he's a slick fighter but also because he doesn't come forward, he's a counter puncher and just sits back and waits for you to come to him. That's why he wins so much but that's also why he isn't very exciting to watch to the avg fan.Comment

Marquez landed 172 punches on Pacquiao
Cotto landed 172 punches on Pacquiao
Margarito landed 229 punches on Pacquiao
Clottey landed 108 punches on Pacquiao....And we know Clottey didnt even let his hands go properly
Not a good sign at all, these guys are not accurate punchers compared to Floyd Mayweather Jr.
What I also noticed is Pacquiao had trouble with a moving target with counter punching ability such as Marquez...Pacquiao threw 600 something punches and landed 153 punches on Marquez compared to the 172 Marquez landed on him...Not a good sign at all if he faces Floyd.
Just proves you can throw 1000 of punches and land often on a punching bag or a fighter who does not have good mobility, who does not use the ring properly, who does not use his legs and move around...such as Margarito.
But when you have a fighter who doesnt use his face as a punching bag, who moves around the ring while also counter punching pacquiao, whose punches arent predictable, then pacquiao cant really throw or land much because you cant throw punches and land on something that is not there, that is not a stationary target.
Even Cotto has a poor defense, and isnt on the level of Floyd or Marquez in counter punching or ring mobility.
I think Freddie Roach has been very clever in the recent match making of Pacquiao along with his catch-weight, mind games and tactics to weaken fighters, whether physically or mentally, but the match making has played a good part as well, styles make fights.
Yup Pac get's hit a lot, that's why FLOYD is still asking for more BLOOD TEST, still on vacation!!
MAYWEATHER SR: I would agree to that fight if they had people from Little Floyd’s Camp in Pacquiao’s Camp for random, any time they desired, to check him out. Check him out. Give him a thorough check every time you go. The game is not looking up at all and I would advise my son, if he chooses not to fight anymore he’s got enough money to live the rest of his life. Leave the game alone. It ain’t worth it. You already proved yourself.
Boxing is all about blood test for the *****S!!!Comment
