You cannot be GREAT until you beat a GREAT BLACK CHAMPION!

    That's just how boxing works.

When boxing first began WHITES dominated the sport.

African American fighters would have never been considered great had they never defeated a great WHITE fighter.

African Americans have pretty much dominated the sport dating back to the Jack Johnson era.

It is only right that if a fighter above lightweight wants to be considered one of the best of all times (or the best of all time) then he should have to beat a great African American fighter (if one exists in or near his weight class).

Joe Calzaghe did it. JC Chavez did it.

Now Pacquiao must do it. Pac had his chance to do it earlier this year, but he ducked Shane Mosley and fought Clottey instead.

Now he has a chance to do it with Mayweather but he won't take the STEROID tests.

If Paul Williams beats Martinez then he'll have a chance to fight Paul. I'm already anticipating the excuses from Team Pac. "He's too tall", "He doesn't have a big enough name", etc, etc...

I hope Pac proves me wrong and steps up to the plate. Only a few fighters have passed this challenge.

Give me a ****ing break already with this nonsense. To be a great fighter you have to beat other great fighters period. It does not matter what nationality or race they happen to be.

is it pacquiaos fault somehow that the top black fighter is terrified of him?

i think all the black supremacist boxing fan guys should just sit around reliving the 60s-80s on VHS and be quiet, blacks haven't "dominated" boxing in years, they "dominated" when their only opponents were 1. white american journeymen with dayjobs 2. each other, they havent dominated boxing since it became an international sport

especially in the divisions mannys career spans the bulk of the title holders are south american and mexican - does he have a shortage of those on his resume?
