I have to look that up, are you sure? I thought both Vitaly and Wlad still had a couple of fights to go with them because they re-signed it recently.
Bild says so. 2 fights left.
Der Vertrag mit RTL läuft noch über zwei Kämpfe: Wladimir boxt am 11. Dezember in Mannheim gegen Briten-Meister Dereck Chisora. Vitali soll wieder im März 2011 antreten.
That was a bold move by haye's camp. Admittedly, it now seems as though haye does want a fight...but it could also be that after haye pads his bank account enough he will be willing to risk losing to Wladimir because he will probably not fight after that. So much for 'cleaning up the HW division'.
Even if negotiations go public (which has certain advantages) haye should get even one farthing/cent/iota more than 50%. Hell, I don't think he deserves 45%, but whatever. If he truly wanted this fight he would just accept the last deal offered and go with it.
I think that the haye camp will use the public negotiations, if that happens, as leverage to get more than he deserves and discredit Wladimir with ducking if he (haye) does not. Somehow he has managed to spin this to look less and less like he is scared. But whatever the case, Wladimir is not scared and DOES want to fight haye. The question is, how much balking will haye do at the contracts presented him in 2011.
Good transparent interview which does need to happen more.
However, I'm finding Booth increasingly sneaky, misleading, and the that Sky broadcast itself with the interviewers was too biased for Haye and against the Klit's. Booth should not really be aloud to be telling the interviews when to be brought in to speak etc. - that's not really a level playing field interview wise.
Now he has his chance to fight the klitscko's ! get his last paycheck ! hopefully not get braindead ! and jippi retire from boxing after the beating he will get :-) Shut the hell up Haye or I myself will kick your ass
Were we discussing that? Nope, you was on about using the mandatory as an excuse. Stop changing the subject.
So as soon as I point out the obvious lie from Booth now you don't want to talk about it? You are not even a little perturbed by that blatant lie by Booth?
I'm not wrong at all, there was polls about it and the 2 rematch clause always was voted as BS.
What I don't understand is if the contracts were what Haye said they were, and that is a big if, he had exactly what he wanted. After all Haye was the one that said he would clean up the division and he had two or three big money fights with the Klit bros lined up and all he to do was beat a washed up Monte to get there. And yes you can argue that he was not in control but anyone who thinks he was better off with Don King and somehow made more money fighting Valuev Ruiz and Harrison has to get their head examined. Now on to the Booth interview.
What I don't understand about the Booth interview is that if Haye is only going to fight one or two more times why would he be concerned with mandatory fights with a belt he is not going to keep? He already has a 50/50 split so the belt really will do no more for him than he already has. And I am surprised that no one has picked up on something Booth said during the interview.
Booth had the gall to claim that Haye and Wlad were equal. I ask How can they possibly be equal? Wlad is the Ring, IBF, WBO and I don't want to but I will also say IBO champ. Wlad has dominated the division for years by consistently fighting top ten fighters and he is rated in the P4P top ten by the Ring. So I ask again how are Wlad and Haye equal? And it is my opinion that Wlad is being more generous than he should be because Haye does not deserve a 50/50 split mush less worry about what the Klit bros get from German television. An since you Mr. Blobby are so into polls why don't you take one and ask the fans if Haye's career is equal to either of the Klit bros and has he really done enough to deserve a 50/50 split? And if you have not already figured it out I will be the first to answer. Hell no he has not and if I was a Klit bro I would laugh in his face and offer him 70/30 or take a hike.
IMHO, Haye will not win against the Klits at this stage. Haye is just displaying his power, basic boxing strategy and most of all employing annoyance outside and inside the ring to incite enragement to his opponent to derail him from his focus. But the Klits were not their as champions for years as immature and couldn't handle these amaturish style of Haye. The Klits are there because they have that amazing power, tactician and patient enough to study their opponent style before a kill.
