Indeed. Arum was also never chasing the fight in the first place. Why make the Mayweather fight and risk his fighter losing when he can easily milk his fighter for easy easy money. If I was Bob Arum I'd take all these small fights with Cotto and Mosley because I know I'd be making millions each time. Instead of one big pay day now, I can go for smaller ones and then go for the one big pay day at the finale when he's done with Pacquiao.

Manny could've put on the sunglasses, sat down and taken the tests, and beaten Floyd in a shocker. Manny could've made everyone shove the test results up their back sides AND beaten Floyd at the same time!!!.

But Noooooooo.... Ain't happenin'. Needles are more scarier than actually being cut in a fight and bleeding in front a large audience.

Floyd tried every spin he could dream up to evade a duel with Manny. His disrespect and insults are what derailed their contest. The only blood he cares about is the blood he would feel upon his own brow. Floyd then went out and gave us the only proof required of his disrespect when he seemed unafraid to beat his wife and terrorize his children but excuses himself from getting involved in a fair fight he cannot manipulate. Pacquiao is simply remarkable. His gifts are promoted and amplified even louder by those who have actually laced 'em up. Manny's legacy is bold and gold. Mayweathers's crap is just old. He is on the road to Tyson Town without the implied legend of potential greatness. Floyd simply cannot beat Pacquiao in a boxing match. Floyd knows this. That's about all he knows right now which is why his life has unraveled.
As an ex pug I would bet my kid's college funds on a Manny victory. He is the finest prizefighter I have witnessed over 44 years of contact within the sport. He does things that are intrinsic and cannot be taught. What he has learned over the years is the result of a brilliant fistic mind having the ability to absorb change. Freddy knew how to direct the brilliance and helped give birth to greatness. Floyd has no such gifts nor such a teacher. He's a good fighter who cherry picked his way to an HBO contract. Without that network he can't draw flies. Pacquiao is joy. Mayweather is just another wasted talent in a sport that demands that you exercise your craft in order to elevate your gifts. Manny loves to fight. Floyd hates it. End of story.
The moment Margarito told himself that he could command the smaller fighter by insulting him and mocking his achievements, he lost. Floyd crossed that line a long time ago. His lack of respect is his most prominent flaw. Even if they sign tomorrow, Mayweather has already lost this match. Pacquiao does not need him. Floyd will call him out when he feels Manny is done and lawyers have drained the Mayweather fiscal image.

All of this Pac wanting to fight Floyd is all a fascade. And if Floyd wasn't such a great fighter why is Floyd's name constantly in the mouths of Pac and his camp.

Like if Pac really wanted Floyd. All Pac would have to do is go on record and give an interview with ESPN, Ring Magazine or whatever credible media outlet and say "Yes, I'll agree to any test in any form of fashion that Floyd wants as long as I get my fair share of the money and it's on".
We all know that Floyd want no cut off dates. But I guess it's the principle of everthing for Pac that is preventing a fight that the entire planet wants to see.

Call Floyd an idiot if you want but we all know what he's demanding. It's in Pac's court now.

No offense but you going all in and having red karma isnt worth a bet for me. I'm looking for at least 500k and green karma but would be willing to drop a million. This is a lock that he does some time behind bars on the current charges.

i laugh when i read comments from pac's team of how they are just waiting for floyd,that they have the number to call,they want us to believe it's floyd when floyd has said before he'll fight if manny agrees to the tests,thats all.just agree,i don't get it why manny refuses,he makes demands of fighters but doesn't want to take a test,millions of dollars and all because he refuses,refuses to fight without all that stuff in him,...so they need to stop trying to blame floyd when floyd has already said he'll fight him,just take the test,no test no fight

if you go back and look at the racist video by floyd, he did say that manny will take the test...floyd never mentioned that olympic style testing was/is the problem

Not sure where you have been. Floyd has said on more than one occasion that he'll "whip Pacquiao's ass". All Manny has to do is accept the drug testing and step to the plate.

One thing is for sure, Mayweather won't be chasing Pacquiao. Floyd is still the biggest draw in boxing.
