You're stretching the truth a bit; it's really a junior welterweight fighting a junior middleweight. Either way it's an unfair fight for Pac. Williams against Mayweather is possible, but even that is a little unfair. But I can't blame Williams for chasing the payday.

How am I streching the truth??? During the fight night, pacquiao weighs in at around 148, even in david diaz fight. Most fighters gains an average weight 6-20lbs during the fight night, just look at margarito gaining 15lbs. -10 or -12 of 148, is a lightweight.

I don't think it's ****** at all to suggest it, but at least we both agree that Pac isn't a WW. I say he's JWW b/c he would struggle to make 135. I know some fighters - Williams, Margarito, Pavlik, Funeka - balloon up around 15lbs on fight night but they're fighting below their natural weight and/or they might be one dimensional fighters who need the size advantage. Roach has said a few times that Pac is a 140pounder and I've also heard EmmanuelSteward and Pac say that he belongs at 138-140.

I know this may sound harsh to the Pac tards, but let me tell ya guys something: If Pacquiao and his managers like Koncz talk about fighting JMM then that is almost as bad really worse than Paul trying to fight Pac. Because at least Williams is willing to move down and he isn't a big Middleweight anyway despite his height difference. So why the hell are people using double standards when it comes to this fighting smaller guys? Isn't that what Pacquiao is trying to do by calling out JMM? Williams-Pacquiao is a legit fight to me. Mosley is garbage.

You're right, even with the height Williams isn't a MW; he's a JMW. Likewise, Pac isn't a WW; he's a JWW. Pac is only 5 or 6 pounds away from Marquez and Mayweather so there's no problem there. Can't blame Williams for chasing the payday but he's a 154pounder.

Paul Williams vs Manny Pacquiao would be the best fight in the last 20 years or so. It would be an all action complete war. Williams can make 147, so I'd Manny won't fight him he should leave that division. After Williams stops Martinez this Saturday they should definitely make Williams-Pacquiao.
