Barrera could box if he wanted to, like against Prince Hamed, but he tended to brawl a lot. Up until he fought Hamed, he was known as a guy that didn't really box much at all. That was a surprise victory, because he showed movement and restraint that no one expected from him.
Morales is the same. Knew how to box well, but liked to exchange and trade. Had that warrior mentality.
Marquez is probably the most technical of the three, and takes advantage of it, but gets caught up in trading and bravado as well. I think it's something that's built into the way they train fighters in Mexico. But Pac had huge problems with Marquez. Marquez finished stronger than Pac in both fights, and you could see that Pac was weary of him. Pac's quality of opposition has been up and down since Marquez. I think Cotto is probably his best win, since then. None of his opponents have been anything like Marquez. They know anyone with counter punching and movement like Marquez is a huge risk, so they've been putting him in with guys that are bigger and stronger, but more limited in their skill set. There is no way Arum wants to risk a loss on Pac's record. Every fight he wins, the story gets more press, and more and more money rolls in.

come back for more(ofcourse there are a few exceptions)...FIGHTERS with BIG heart and devil may cry attitude in the ring sells tickets and PPV that is why they are the one's that are getting paid...if technical boxers are the one's selling tickets and PPV, Manny would be all over their asses...but unfortunately their not....
