Marquez is a better boxer than Oscar ever was. Where are you cross-dressing Oscar fans at now? It's the truth, Marquez is the real Mexican warrior.

JMM was robbed alright, but since then he never showed signs that he can handle Pac's power which has improved a lot. and of course Pac will never go down south of 140, a weight even that's one class too much for JMM.

see if the fight happens at a catchweight of 140-144 people are going to ***** about it. However this is were this two should meet up. To be honest who gives a **** where it is at both are going to come in at their comfortable weight. Pac will be 148 as usual and marquez around 140-142

yeah it's handicap freddy's fault that jmm can't carry his ablities up the higher weight classes for the biggest payday of his dear life. fck handicap freddy...

                  2. Juan Manuel Marquez hit the canvass 4 times after 2 fights with the best boxer in the world

Robbed? I can remember that Dela Hoya was robbed by Mayweather Jr. yet he didn't care cause he's an idiot.
So, drawing from your limitless pool of experience, you can remember three things.....

You seem to have forgotten that 36yo shrink-wrapped Hoya lost 9 pounds in order to compete at welter for the first time in 7 years, and that he completely ****ed it up weighing 145lb two weeks before the fight, entering the ring looking like a weight-drained zombie.

But you are correct, Oscar was an idiot for doing that.

That exhibition match was a joke, and yet you used a much better Hoya at 154lb as an excuse to bash Mayweather ? The point of your post is obvious

And..... "Juan Manuel Marquez hit the canvass 4 times after 2 fights with the best boxer in the world"..... has absolutely nothing to do with why Marquez lost, or won, either of those two bouts.

e.g. the second fight was even after the knockdown, so if Marquez lost, it was because he could not impose himself in the later rounds..... for example, Marquez could have knocked Manny down late in the fight, but he didn't..... and he could have gained advantage by edging Manny on the scorecards, which IMO he did.

e.g. in their first encounter, it was even about the mid-way point of the fight, it is what happened AFTER that point that determined the outcome..... either of those two guys could have gassed, there could have been more knockdowns, or rounds could have been clearly won on the cards.

You cannot look back to the second fight and say "the knockdown was the difference"..... it was not the difference, because the fight was even AFTER that point. If Marquez lost, it was because he wasn't good enough to close the show and bring it home.

It is convenient to look back with the benefit of hindsight and say "oh, the knockdown was the difference"..... if that fight was even after 10 rounds, then it all came down to what happened during the last two rounds, regardless as to what had previously occured.

How the hell could Manny knock Marquez down 3 times and break his nose in the very first round, and yet luckily only escape with a draw?
