The president of Golden Boy Promotions, Oscar De La Hoya, will not stop in his pursuit of a third meeting between Juan Manuel Marquez and Manny Pacquiao. There were already two exciting but controversial meetings between the two boxers. The first was fought to a twelve round draw in 2004. The 2008 rematch ended in a controversial twelve round split decision in favor of Pacquiao.

Here we go again..JMM won in a close fight.. But here we go again!!!

Neither Pac-JMM fight was a robbery. The first fight JMM dominated, but was down by four points after one freaking round, that's really hard to come back from.

Pac-JMM 2 was extremely close. Any idea that JMM was robbed is ridiculous.

I had Marquez winning the rematch but it was a close fight. I had Pac winning the 1st fight mainly due to the 3 knock downs. Would have loved to have seen a 3rd fight straight after the rematch & would still love to but I think Pac has come on too much & at WW would be too much for Marquez

it wasnt a robbery. but pacquiao didnt deserve the W that night. I like most of the world excluding the philippines thought marquez should have been given the decision. the look on pacquiaos face said it all to me when the result was announced.

Nah. DLH was robbed that night on Dec 2008. Robbed on his memory and logic. .

Anyhow, this has been done to death. This is also proof also how close that fight was. Robbery should be the farthest thing that you should comment on that fight.
