A mayweather vs pacquiao wont be at 154 nor will pacquiao be the bigger guy.

I mean i can say look at what Marquez did to pacquiao, dont you think Floyd who is a completely better version of Marquez will do better? Floyd is faster, great counter puncher, plus floyd has a bigger arm length advantage. which he uses very well.

overall you really cant compare what de la hoya did to floyd will be what pac will do to floyd just in a more brutal fashion
It all depends on the weight?? Delahoya fought Floyd at super welterweight. Pac has proven he can fight at super welterweight with margacheato. So if Delahoya can do that to floyd in super welterweight, I'm sure pac can be more offensive minded and land more shots even in that weight.

Yup, you guessed even in super welterweight. margarito was like oscar when oscar fought Floyd. offensive minded and doesn't have the care in the world if he gets hit as long as he lands those punches. and what did pac do to margarito He ****ed him up.

Pac is the best offensive fighter. He will get those combos landing on Floyd's face for sure.

Yes Floyd is the best defensive fighter in the game, but that dont mean he isnt hittable.. Everyone landed a punch on Floyd...

Pac will land one IF FLOYD EVER FIGHTS HIM.... And when Floyd feels it he will resort to back peddling...

Wow, DELUSIONAL...so you think its just going to be Pacquiao coming forward and Floyd backing off without fighting back? Floyd felt Mosleys power twice in the second round, went to his corner totally calm- came back out and pressed the attack. Do you think Pacquiao has greater power than Mosley? Fair enough his punches are quicker and come more often but his power will be NOTHING compared to what Floyd has had before. *******s in for a serious shock will Floyd busts Mannys face to ****. Counter punching-heaven for Floyd when they meet up

I dont like triangle theories in boxing as history proves they are worthless.. But the TS has a good point... Pac is a better offensive fighter that Oscar IMO.

Anyways heres my two pence worth. I think the idea of this thread is good, but the one thing Oscar had over Floyd other than size and reach that Pac doesn't have..? A GREAT Jab.

This jab from Osc is what threw Floyd off at first. I know some *****s will say 'ohhh but Floyd countered the **** out of Oscars jab with the right hand' and there is some truth in that, after a few rounds Floyd was timing and countering Oscars jab. But it was the Jab that took the first few rounds in Oscars favour IMO. Trouble for Pac is, he doesn't have the sort of Jab Oscar did. Pacs straight left will be more useful to him in a fight with Floyd than his short southpaw Jab.

Oscar was able to throw that Jab with vengance, it would SNAP Floyds head back and then he would step inside and throw a barrage of punches at Floyd (most of which didnt even hit him, they were bouncing off his arms and shoulders, but because of the ******ed non boxing fans cheering so much, the judges gave points to Oscar.) Real boxing fans knew that they wern't landing shots. We knew what was up! Effective aggression is the key. Not useless aggression.

So this theory of Pac being a better offensive machine than a 154lb Oscar is good, but the fact that Pac doesn't have a ATG Jab like Oscars blows this theory out of the water for me.

I think Timing and Distance will be key if this fight ever gets made. Not just pure speed like Freddie Roach will have most believe.

And can we leave all this ***** ******* bull**** out of this thread and dicsuss it like people that are not complete *******. If someone would like to post an actual topic related reply, please quote me so I dont ignore you.. Cheers people.

garbage theory, both Oscar and JMM said that they would favor Floyd Mayweather to beat Pac. No reason to lie really since Floyd talks copious amount of crap.

yup, and he still got 1 judge to award him a win. Delahoya's punches got through what more pac's. Ain't rocket science pac has hellacious combos and is faster than Delahoya =)
