hopkins is only stating a fact.... We dont see mayweather, mosley, pwill, berto, bradley, alexander, or even kirkland and judah. I'm sure the list could go on.... The fact is, hopkins has a very very valid point....

We also havnt seen pacquiao vs khan, maidana, ortiz, chavez jr, kotelnik etc etc etc

Is it stereotypical or factual to ask why didn't a fight with Zahir Raheem come off but they opted to fight Erik Morales who was coming off a loss in their rematch??

For the record, I COMPLETELY understand the Morales fight was more lucrative however, a fighter shouldn't be rewarded coming off a complete one sided loss that Zahir Raheem gave Erik at that time. All I'm saying is that doesn't help dispel the notion of Hopkins criticism and this isn't the first time we've heard this.

Morales vs Pac II was already ***ing signed and both Pac and Morales took tuneups. Morales lost his, Manny didn't, doesn't mean a legally binding contract suddenly becomes void. After Morales vs Pac II Raheem lost to Fritas who had nowhere near the skills pac had but some how morons like you still wanna make Raheem into some sort of stylistic nightmare for pac despite losing to a rather ordinary Fritas.

He's already been handled fairly well by two Mexican fighters already. Morales and Marquez.

The only reason why both those guys had success against Manny is because neither of them were technically shot to ****. It was Morales last great fight and Marquez continued to go on a win streak after his fights with Pacquiao.

It's all about the quality of fighters Manny is facing, not the race. He's facing carefully selected fighters at the twilight's of their careers and reaping the benefits right now. More power to him but he's not exactly cleaning out divisions or even fighting the top guys in the sport. He's fighting the guys that are down swings or fighters that aren't that good in general.

Hopkins is a typical illiterate ******-bird though. To expect something to make sense coming out of his mouth is asking for too much.

Why is is always about race??? Manny has proven himself time and time again he has nothin else to proove and as far as for mexican fighters im not mexican but i will tell you manny hasnt fought a single Mexican fighter in his prime other than Margs if we go back and see all the mexican or mexican american fighters hes fought all of them were either not good competition or fighters who have been in too many wars or past there prime the only one i can think of is Margs and Marquez and well we know what happened with Marquez. Im a Manny fan but i think that second fight Marquez had the edge on that one
