Exactly. The whole "race" argument is flawed to begin with and then you'd have to consider who exactly is making that charge? What do they all have in common? Paranoia -- they feel everyone is out to get them because of their race, not realizing that they've alienated the mainstream because they were to busy "keeping it real". If I had a nickel for every black guy from the hood who thought someone was out to get them because they were black, my name would be the one plastered on the Trump Tower.

While judah isnt the slickest, he actually could punch with him and kept up with him.

Demarcus Corley definately counts, and god forbid he stunned mayweather when it happened.

Bhop simply said what was on his mind. The better way to say it would've been: Top Rank has avoided having manny fight boxers/counter punches with speed. Then he could've used two examples floyd and yuri foreman (who at 5'11, the same height as Margacheato, was said to be "too tall" for Manny). But BHOp is a black man so he sees things through that prism.

It's not all about race on this issue but race is a factor. The bigger factor is money. Bob has moved away from the african american market and more toward the hispanic marrket because they support boxing better. No sense in matching him against PWill or Mosley, Bradley, Alexander when its not that profitable. Stylistically why take the risk to make your cash cow look bad by matching manny against any of those guys when the reward isnt that great.

The only "slick" fighter Manny should fight now is Floyd. And I agree with BHOp floyd would win that fight.

It wasn't a blanket statement and moreover I wasn't referring to you, or speaking on the entire culture has a whole. I'm referring to a subset group within the culture that constantly uses "race" as an excuse.

                You guys are hilarious.

I remember Pac fans supporting B-Hop when he called out Floyd for not fighting Pac and now you guys are talking **** because he speaks the truth.

Manny is afraid of fighting a slick black fighter and has a history of ducking slick fighters.

He obviously doesn't fight them because other than Floyd, who he has already tried to fight, and Williams, who is at a much higher weight class right now, there are no black fighters worthy of stepping in the ring with Pacquiao at this point.

Maybe if there were more black fighters at his level?

I mean, besides mayweather, out of possible opponents, clottey was probably the best option lol And he looked terrible against pac

I agree with the earlier poster who suggested that Hopkins is most likely just trying to set up a date with Manny for his buddy Shane.

Funny that Oscar is currently trying to throw JMM's name out there.

I wonder if those two guys are talking?
