just because he beat them easily doesn't mean they were challenges.

he was just better and won.

i find it funny when floyd fans talk that crap because floyd has been in the same situation.

people discredit hatton , judah , etc. because they weren't "challenges"

fact is hatton and judah were challenges. they were good fighters. just because floyd beat them easily doesn't mean they weren't challenges or good , solid wins. (yeah he had some problems early on with judah but in the end he beat him easily)
You got me all wrong today Tua, I'm not discrediting any of those wins. Just that I want to see Pacquiao or Mayweather challenge themselves, all I askin' for. We all know the opponents, atleast some of us.

they have been fighting challenges for the most part.

okay diaz wasn't one but pac was jumping up a division.

okay jmm wasn't one but floyd was coming off a 2 year layoff almost.

mosley was just a challenge for floyd.

cotto was for pac. hatton was for pac.

delahoya was one for floyd , it was his first at 154 and delahoya was still solid.

people think , "oh you have to fight someone that can beat you"

yeah that's how it works with most guys.

but when you're a #1 p4p fighter , not many of those guys exist.

that's why you fight guys like hatton , gatti or clottey or whatever.

guys that are good even though they might not be able to beat you.

Look what Pacquiao did to Margarito when he landed those body shots, and this took place at 150; Margarito who came in at 165. Can you imagine the longer skinnier Paul Williams taking those shots? Paul hasn't faught at 147 in a while, he can probably make it, but I'm certain he'll be weak.
If Paul Williams was in the same shape he was when he last left 147, then that is the toughest fight I can imagine for him. Paul Williams has a constant flicking jab that Pac would have far too much trouble getting past, Pac is damn near a foot shorter. Add in the constant activity and Pac wouldn't be able to escape it.

On topic however, Paul Williams could make 147 but I don't think he would be that healthy in doing it. He's been at 154-160 for a few fights now, it would not be easy for him to get back down.

i believe he still can make it, i think it has to do with his metabolism and his akward physique.

he says he can, no problem, but a bunch of dudes on boxingscene say he can't....

            lulz.

saying pwill is no challenge for pac at 147 is blatantly trying to discredit pac because no one was saying this before and pwill is the best other 147lb challenge for pac besides floyd "gonna fake my own death or get myself locked up into protective custody" mayweather.

pwill is a beast at ww and says he has trouble putting on weight to make 160.

yet it's fair at 154 right?

                    give me a break.

if floyd fought pwill at 147 i wouldn't complain. i think you're just trying to make something out of nothing.

boohoo pac-pwill at 147 is so unfair for the 6'4 giant. lmfao

yet a guy who comes in at 145-150 , it's fair to fight a 6'4 guy at 154.

                    lame.

in the end if pwill thinks he can make 147 , let him try. he's gonna get a big fight and big money.
Well they want pac to get beat ... can't really blame them *****s.
