It would be a tough fight but this version of Manny beats Tito via wide decision. I mean I respect Tito as a fighter and he is an ATG, but Manny is special and I don't think the size difference would be as big of a deal as most make it.

im puerto rican and loved watching and supporting tito trinidad in his day but damn he is overrated to some on here. his best wins are:

a close decision that could've and probably should have went to oscar
joppy who was a decent boxer but nothing special
vargas who was nothing special
mayorga who had already been beaten 4 times, nothing special.
the rest of his big fights(bhop, winky, etc.)he lost.

like i said im rican, loved watching tito fight but i ain't like a bunch of other ricans out there that believed in the hype. i was there in my neighborhood when everyone went crazy after he beat oscar. a riot against the police broke out because of how hard we celebrated but as i watched that fight in a livingroom full of biased drunk ricans like myself, i thought oscar was gonna get the decision because he outboxed tito but ran for the last 3 or 4 rounds.

tito was a great fighter but was not a great skilled boxer(bhop, and winky showed why) i'd favor pac by close u.d.

I could see how Tito would win this. If Manny trades then I can see him KO'ing him. The thing is Manny and Roach know not to fight that type of fight. People see Manny taking huge shots but that is more to do with his lack of respect for the other guys power.

Look at the DLH fight in which Manny respected Oscar's power and actually fought smart. He was moving his head more, getting out of harms way, and actually staying of the ropes and using the center of the ring more.

Even in the Margarito fight....as soon as Tony started to do damage and actually hurt Manny against the ropes, you saw how quick Manny got off the ropes and make it a fight in the center of the ring.

Against Tito.....I defiantley don't see Manny standing in the pocket and trading with him. What I do see is him turning Tito alot and doing a lot of in and out movement.

That **** would be a nightmare for Tito as the worst matchup for a guy with poor balance is a guy with great footwork. Manny's feet are exceptionally fast and I see him turning Tito all night landing combos and getting outta harms way. Yeah Tito could land a big shot and I'm not saying he couldn't win, but the gap in speed (particular footspeed) is so wide that I see Tito getting turned and landed on at will.

Man I could defiantly see tito landing something nasty on him and stopping the fight. I wouuld be a fool to rule out that possibility.

The thing is Tito is most effective when his opponent is in front of him. Pac wont be running, rather using his lateral quickness to turn tito, land quick combos, and repeat the process all over again.

Again I'm telling you the worst opponent for a fighter with bad balance is a fighter with great footwork. I wouldn't be shocked if Manny made him look silly at times.
