Good point on Creed working with Balboa, I hadn't thought of that. Boy, I'd like to see some footage of those two training! Maybe on the beach!

Though I don't think it will be enough to replace Mick in The Rock's corner. I just don't think that Balboa can fight the smart fight he needs to to wear out Lang. I'm telling you, Clubber will go down as one of the ATG.

Balboa's chin is cracked after that beating, and he hasn't been hungry in a while. He's almost like Pac, but Pac can keep his focus through those distractions. Balboa is done.

Anyone with any boxing sense knows that if East Europeans were allowed to compete with these overhyped American heavyweights that they wouldndominate. Take for instance, this young Russian amateur boxer Ivan Drago, the guy has over 100 amateur wins (with 50 kos) and punches like a mule. This guy would annilate the Balboas, Creeds, Lang, etc of the boxing world...

Training on beach? I've not seen a fighter do that before but yes, I would like to see that too. Maybe even in slow motion.

I pity the fool who think Lang aint an ATG!

Theres this old ancient way of thinking that puts the fire back into the fighters belly. I think its called the way of the tiger, or eye of the tiger, something to that effect. If bablboa can get that again, I think he cleans up Lang in 3 rounds. I see him winning with too much speed, too much stamina, and a iron heart, chin and will.

I would have to agree with you here. Though the Russian's are juicing their fighters right now and using current top notch technology to get the best out of the fighters. Balboa cant get access to that kinda stuff.. I mean, whats he gunna do... use logs?

I've heard of Drago, haven't seen footage yet. I've heard that whatever he hits, he destroys.

Wonder if there's any footage? Doesn't matter, pro is a different animal to the amatuers. I doubt he competes with the upper echelon heavies, much less Creed. I'd even take Creed if he came out of retirement to fight him.

Let's hope Balboa has something left after those wars with Creed.

and I think Drago is over-rated. Creed KOs him in two even with his long retirement. Just IMO. He's unproven in the elite level.

I just spoke to Elie Seckback and he's given me some inside footage of Lang training for Balboa. The dude looks like a beast. I dont know if Balboa can fight him again.

What if Balboa in some miracle whoopin beat Lang, where would it put him in your ATG list?

round 1- rocky coming out on his toes. Oh snap! Balboa boxing, Ali style. Rocky outjabbing Lang, good head movement for Balboa. This has got to be the biggest turnaround for a fighter since Barrera going from brawler to master boxer. Fighting after the bell. ITS A WAR!
