Do Black fans really think like Hopkins?

Slickness aside. There are only a few black fighters out there that could hold Pac's jockstrap except for Floyd and in a lesser degree, Bradley, Berto, and Paul Williams. Mosley is old and shot so forget him already.
I think Goldenboy is desperate for that big money fight. Who else do they have except for Mosley and/or Floyd. Floyd doesn't even consider them as his promoter.
This is the reason why Dela Hoya is probably even thinking of fighting again.Comment

i think b-hop has a point. although he might've added a little uncalled for zeal. I think he was trying to quell the arguments on two different points. A) the fact that they will not match manny with a "boxer" (consequently, those that boxed him clearly showed why). and also that out of all races in boxing, black fighters (champions especially) get the most heat, or rather don't get as much due as their counterparts. think about black champions. so called "boxing" champions especially.
floyd-obviously hated, even though he's a great boxer.
roy jjr.- hated on big time, even when he cleared his division, and he was a great boxer
Hopkins-hated on terribly his whole career. never truly accepted. not necessarily a boxer.
Leonard-hated on big time while he was a champion. scared, conceited, etc...boxer
Ali - people want to remember him as america's greatest fighter, but while he was boxing he was hated by the bulk of america (you know who you are).
We could build a list a thousand miles long of all the fights that should've been made for every boxer in boxing.
Some are too young to remember the way these guys were treated while they were champions. So, does hopkins have a point? definitely when it comes to pac having not faced a "boxer". The other question of whether black boxers are shunned......sad to say, he may.Comment

Hopkins is racist. That much we know. Whites, Asians, Latins. He hates them all.
At the same time, he probably has good reason. As a teenager in the penitentiary, I'm sure men of all races got in that ass.Comment

Hey ignore the grumblings of the boxing world if you want, but Hopkins is right when he says many don't have the balls to say It. Well more African Americans are growing the balls to say it cause once you start comparing Pac to Ali and SRL, you are inviting criticism from Black fans. Like I said before Pac fight a Black American or retire. Only by beating Mayweather can you put Pac on Ali and SRL's level.Comment

Pacquaio needs to avoid myweather, he will lose a UD. Also I think Hopkins is sayibng Pacquaio beats black fighters, not the other way around jokers.Comment
