If Pac and Floyd don't fight, the only way Floyd surpasses Pac is w/ a MW Title.

floyd fought the winner of mosley/margarito

        pacquiao fought the loser.

        shane stopped the loser (margarito)

so the catch weight king should not receive any praise.

floyd is the true p4p..he beat the best at a good weight while pacquiaos opponents damage them self with the weight issue before they even enter the ring.

        END THREAD!!

If he beats Williams or Martinez he surpasses him, if he's not already in front. Inis last 2 fights he beat the number 1 ranked welterweight anf P4P top 5 in JMM. If he beats Williams another top 5 P4P, or SM also P4P how could he not be better?? Where are Clottey and Margo ranked on the P4P list?????

me personally, would prefer it at 135. jmm is already too small for that as it is. 140 is pushing it.

i need a jmm fan perspective.

roach's lame ass is talking about jmm at 147.

              that's bs.

135 for me would be great but i'll settle for 140.

would jmm fans be okay with pac-jmm 3 at 140?

Fight the bigger guy but don't let him come in at a full weight limit. Penalize him $1Mill for every pound overweight at the weigh in. Who cares? As long as he's fighting such a dangerous opponent. "We just want a fight". Right?

Good post. The problem is Floyd can't get away with draining fighters down. Again it goes back to being held to a higher standard by everyone associated with boxing, the fans and media.

Would Pac fans support Floyd fighting Martinez at a CW of 150 for a JMW fight??

Floyd being held to a higher standard just indicates to me that people truly think he is the best.

At the end of the day his last two opponents were P4P to 5. Manny's weren't even in the rankings, yet he is the GOAT for beating AM at a CW?? C'mon. the like of Ray Leonard, Hearns, SRR would stomp on Pacquaio because he get's hit too often.

True. He has to win it at a catchweight of 156 for it to be enough.

Floyd could end his career now, and he will go down as a great. But I don't see him ever surpassing what Pacquaio has done.

The dude came up from flyweight and now dominates people several divisions above his natural weight class. Not just dominates, but destroys them. He's a freak.

I don't see Floyd being able to fight guys a couple of divisions above his natural weight and dominate in that fashion. He probably has the talent to do it but he just doesn't fancy those kind of risks.

I would take Martinez off the list if he loses.

Floyd would have to beat Williams and Bradley to just start off with
