How can you give credit to a guy who beat a guy who used plaster against his biggest challenges. Not only that, they made it a catchweight for a 154 pound title. Not only that Margarito was coming off 2 bad performances.

How the hell can YOU give credit for that win?

Why is it hating if you don't think highly of Margarito at this point in his career?

He started as an 8-1 underdog and by fight time it was 5-1. That means the objective people who are only concerned about making money gave him no chance.

Just because he fought and lost to Manny doesn't mean Marg was a quality opponent. Same holds for floyd. I mean Arturo Gatti (RIP) isn't a great fighter because floyd beat him.

Well unlike you, I can't read minds. So I don't know if he used plaster prior to the mosley fight- where he got caught (because it's hard to get away with illegal handwarps when you have 10+ experienced observers)

All I know is Margarito puts inhuman pressure, comes forward no matter what you do to him, and hits hard without plaster, and that it takes something special to be able to beat him.

Like I said. If you know boxing, you know Margarito is a beast.

No matter what preceeded the making of the fight, it's the fight itself and the fight alone where you prove how much you deserve the opportunity.

Margarito earned everything he got to fight that night in the ring. Or would you rather have seen Pac vs Rigondeux. Rigondeux is perfect on paper but he turned out to be a coward.

It doesnt take something special to beat that version of Margarito, just stop. I remember there were alot of Pacqiauo fans who also called this **** bull***** when it got signed, that tells you all you need to know. Stop giving Manny tons of credit for this fight as if its a great win, its not.

Does he deserve credit for the Cotto win? Absolutly. Does he deserve credit for the Hatton win? Absolutly. Hell, even the Clottey win holds more significance than this win.

Margarito didn't earn his shot, if coming off a loss and suspension and beating Garcia and not looking your usual self is enough to earn a fight with the P4P #1 ,then fair enough.

No, i would have prefered Pacqiao fight Williams or Martinez at 154, or even Angulo, and thats reaching. Margarito did nothing to deserve a shot at Manny. Just stop acting like its the win of the century, its not even close to Manny's best win.
