I also think Angulo would be a tougher fight for Cotto because Angulo is like a baby Marg. He's more rugged than Jr and is a better boxer than people give him credit for. He's also a harder puncher and his chin is amazing.

Cotto is at the stage of his career where he needs to think about making that money, fighting the biggest names, getting that cash and retiring into the sunset.

Anyone who is disappointed in this fight is a total idiot, and none of you should EVER be a promoter. Berto brings ZERO money to the table HBO loses money with any fight he is on, also who has Berto beaten to even be on HBO much less get a fight with Cotto? The same can be said for Chavez but at least he brings the Mexican fan base, as well as casuals simply off his name, some of you are so dumb it amazes me.... Angulo? Did we all forget he'll never get a fight in the states because he hasn't had a working visa for any of his fights, ever. His career is essentially over and he isn't near the draw that Chavez is either.

Also, its pretty obvious that Bob wants Cotto/Marg II. So for Cotto you might as well take a fight with a BIG, TALL Mexican who fights coming forward just like Marg, who also brings the biggest paycheck your going to get with Manny/Floyd/Margarito not being your opponent. This fight makes perfect sense for Cotto is a tune-up fight with a huge payday against a guy who fights EXACTLY like Margarito. Its a good thing you guys are internet tough guys and not promoters or boxing would actually be dead.

Tune up fight for Cotto before margacheato. Cotto is not the same fighter he was before maracheat damaged him but has enough to beat cash cow JR. Jr really is not that good and has zero chance against COtto. The body shots will prove to be too much for Cash cow jr.

The only way I would call Angulo a baby Margarito is if we compare their volume of punches. Angulo has a chin as good as Margarito's, and he has that one punche KO capability that Tony hasn't.

On regards to the Cotto vs Chavez jr fight, people shouldn't call it a tune up. Even if Jr. is a hype job he has qualities to make the fight very difficult for Cotto.

*** it lets get it done, just wish it was in Jan not so far away in March but oh well. Angulo needs a Visa, Pwill or Serg would be nice. As would Berto or Dzinzurik but those dudes bring zero money and theres not even any angle to stage a fight for those other contenders like K9 besides the fact that it would be a unification fight but theres no cash there either. Chavez is good for the cash, I see a KO win and a rematch with Marg in June. Now Marg just needs his tune up fight too.

angulo has less tha 20 fights and is champ! cintron had to run for his life! angulo is getting better and better, and hits harder than any of those dudes. no way in hell manroid just walks through an angulo right hand no ****ing way !hes never faced a puncher like that not even close! plus angulo has the best chin out of all those dudes, manroid dont want none expect another overmatched opponent, like mosley.
