I agree, Arum should let Cotto have a unification bout with K9 Bundradge and then face Pacquiao next. That would be so much better.

angulo has less tha 20 fights and is champ! cintron had to run for his life! angulo is getting better and better, and hits harder than any of those dudes. no way in hell manroid just walks through an angulo right hand no ****ing way !hes never faced a puncher like that not even close! plus angulo has the best chin out of all those dudes, manroid dont want none expect another overmatched opponent, like mosley.

chavez beats that shot quittos ass, expect to see a more polished chavez 2nd fight under roach. chavez will never be even half as good as his dad 95% of all fighters wont be, but he has enough to beat a washed up cotto. cotto isnt back dont let the foreman fight fool you foreman is a bum with no punch and still had cotto seeing stars. chavez jr takes it probably easily too.

I think it's safe to say that Cotto is a better fighter than Chavez Jr

BUT............

We don't know how much improved Jr. is under Roach and he does have a size advantage over Cotto naturally so maybe he can catch Cotto at the right time in his career.

I don't think Cotto is shot but I also don't think Cotto is the same fighter he was in his prime, just my opinion. So maybe Jr can take advantage of that, who knows.

This fight also plays on the Mexico vs PR thing you knuckleheads love so much and is one of the best money makers for Cotto out there right now.

yea but angulo is there to be hit..... if he fights any of the top guys they thoroughly outbox him. angulo is a hard hitter, dont get me wrong, but he's also one of the most flatfooted fighters ive seen.

I'm actually slightlty interested in a chavez bout, its a good step up fot the kid and for cotto it'll be a good challenge seeing as jr is longer and taller. and he's got some skill to boot.

Cotto is having surgery and it will be a long layoff from his last fight. JCC jr is a good tune-up fight for Cotto if he is going to mix it up with Margo, Williams or Angulo. My prediction is that JCC jr will run away from the fight again

I think Cotto wants to fight Chavez Jr because when Cotto fought Margaloser, Chavez Sr was ranting about how a mexican beat another puerto Rican. There is actually a youtube video about that, he was yelling "We beat another Puerto Rican" so I think Cotto wants to damage Chavez Jr and send him to papy in a body bag
