its funny whenever i see haters here saying this guy will murder Pacquiao or has no chance of beating this guy. but in reality Manny has been murdering guys infront of him. Trinidad was not as good as Manny even in his prime. Tito would look slow against Manny. Manny's skills would be too much. Dela Hoya lost all his big fights. it wouldnt make a difference if he fought Manny in his prime. it would be a lot close but Manny still win.

Pac is better than all the current crop, but even Cotto and Clottey had some limited success in damaging him somewhat (I know Clottey fight was a joke, but he landed some good shots, few but still). Those guys were a lot better, just something to ponder.

DLH got tagged a lot by the limited Mago Gonzales and faded late in that fight, his fight against John John Molina he also got tagged a lot. Lets not forget a lot of people felt the old Whittaker who barely beat Hurtado from a come from behind stoppage and got 2 gifts imo against Rivera deserved the decision. Lets not forget Darrell Coley had DLH stunned in a round I forget which.

Trinidad looked plenty vulnerable at 147, he got dropped by plenty fighters like Carr/Campas/Cortes/Stephens. He beat Blocker/Campas/Camacho then didn't fight anyone of note for about 4 years until beating Whittaker. He then got the gift against Oscar while looking like a mummy because of Oscar's fast feet.

The welterweights from the late 90's were great but they weren't unbeatable, I don't see them being 2 levels above Cotto/Floyd/Pac/Marg(pre-shane).

BTW If u don't think Pac could hurt Trinidad look what the southpaw Cortes did to him in round two.

Trinidad has similar heart to margarito and similar size, the main difference is the good handspeed tito has(watch he threw punches in bunches against prime vargas), and also possibly the biggest punching welterweight outside of tommy hearns in history, trinidad would land I believe, he had the speed to catch manny if margarito landed with his slow plodding style that night, tito would land and we saw how bad margarito had him when he finally caught pacquaio against the ropes in the six, tito had way too much power, the kind of power that had oscar running, did you see oscar RUN from vargas, hopkins, pacquaio, mosley, chavez, nobody had that kind of power which is why oscar RAN like he was in the 100metre sprint race, pacquaio would lose to tito and he would lose to mosley too, oscar wouldve been 50-50 because even in his prime oscar was still essentially a left handed fighter fighting out of an orthodox stance which is freddie roachs and pacquaios speciallity

also pacquaio is in his prime now and has been for the last few years right? exactly who has he beaten that a prime trinidad, de la hoya, mosley wouldnt beat? clottey? cotto - post margarito? margarito - post shane mosley? why doesnt he fight guys who are on top why do they all have to have suffered a recent savage beating? hatton from mayweather, cotto from margarito, margarito from shane mosley, de la hoya believe it or not lost something when he fought mayweather because in his very next fight steve forbes hurt him a bit and busted his face up almost as bad as pacquaio did
