marquez looked good in his last fight at his normal weight class. mosley looked completely shot against mora.

Ariza has alot of nerve disrespecting Sugar Shane Mosley
like that, when his prize fighter Manny Pacquiao didn't even
want to step in the ring with Mosley before the Mayweather
fight. Mosley was the top WW and they opted to fight a damage
Cotto who struggled past a reluctant Clottey. Then fought a fighter
Mosley KO'd already. While I do agree that Pac would most likely
beat Mosley at this stage, but for Ariza to act like Mosley is nothing
is weak. Since he is talking about Marquez and fighting him at
any weight, they should just do it at 140 forget 147. Pac should
be on the next episode of the dating game because Top Rank
continues to match him up with fighters that best suits his
style. Marquez/Pacquiao 3 at 140 make it happen if the Floyd
fight won't.

I agree its the same reason Pac didn't want to fight Yuri Foreman. He would have eventually taken him out but its hard to look good against all out runners. JMM at 147 is not competitive. Roach has clearly avoided Mosley. I think he's a threat Pac maybe able to outwork him but Margs slow ass landed way too many shots on Manny and hurt him. Mosley will hit him with something early and have him in trouble at least.

That's the exact words to say when you want to avoid a fighter, Marquez is actually safer to fight for Pacman. Mosley, is dangerous stylewise coz he has better mobility , avoid punches than blocking and a high ratio of one knock out punch. Its fair to say that ariza doesnt want that 2nd round punched against Floyd lands on Pacman. Pacman is fast, strong and has mobility as well but very easy to hit by the same counterpunch mosley has. So risky, thats the obvious reason.

right now they don't want to fight mosely because mosely has better reflexes, is fast and hits hard. He's not a quitter. Marquez cannot win at 147. the fight should be made at a catchweight of 138 so marquez can have a descent chance. They do catchweights all the time for Manny, why not do it for marquez. I know that Manny would lose to Martinez if Martinez loses and decides to go down to 154 or Paul Williams if he loses. How about Andre Berto who is supposed to be very fast and explosive. But here, Berto's team want no part of Pacman . He would be sent to the hospital.

I think Roach and Ariza are worried about Mosley's combination of power and hand speed. I think Manny would win that fight but stylistically, it could be a problem for Fanny Pac.
