Would Calslappy have been able to do this in Roy's prime?

But when you get older it's not necessarily the hand speed that will slow as much as the timing...

He has hand speed as long as he he's hitting the mitts or the punching bag (Jeff Lacy)... but a moving target? Not at 40....

The trigger isn't there or the reflexes to get off faster... once he gets off the hands are fast but it's a delayed reaction..

Do you have his financial statements? His bank transaction sheets?

DO you know how much money he spent in total in 2007, and 2008?

Have you talked to his accountant?

Is him still fighting on because he may of thought he still had it out of the realm of possibility?

Still thought he could win another title?

Maybe didn't feel he was as past prime as he was?

Where is this proof of him being broke that you so matter of factly put it?

        Just because he's still fighting?

You think him fighting since he was 8 years old.. after 34 years of being involved in this sport.. that maybe... just maybe, there's an attachment factor there?

        Maybe.
Have you seen his last fights? If he thinks he still has it and isn't fighting for the money, then he is just a damn fool.

If you want to fight because you love it, fight bums. He is shot and has to know it. Why would you continue to fight if you didn't need the money when you are shot to hell?

Do you seriously have to ask? ****, out of all the ass-whuppings Roy's taken since he fell off the map, Calzaghe's was one of the weakest.

I would disagree, Joe took the piss out of him. It was a more demoralising beating especially considering the knockdown and the bootleg Roy impressions Joe was doing lol

              Didn't you hear?

Roy Jones is now god, and would KO that Cab Driver Calzaghe in one..

Of course you think that was more demoralising than the Glen Johnson bout or the Tarver rematch. Or Danny Green. But I'ms aying it was one of the weakest a** kickings he took.

Lol...I do love all the "Roy would've KOed Joe in 1 round" posts. Who has Roy knocked out his prime? Montell Griffin?

Most likely he'd win a decision and maybe get a knockdown.

Yeah, they were. I don't know about you but if you got cold ****ed with one punch in the streets, your friends would tell you that you got your a** kicked. Or not. Who cares? Jones was out gunned but never hurt against Calzaghe. He lost a wide, points decision. Not the same as peeling yourself off the canvas. Or maybe it's just me.
