Let's get this straight,

Floyd had agreed to terms with Team Judah and HBO regarding their fight. Floyd was given an HBO PPV date for the first time while Judah contract and cut was lessen for losing to Baldomir. This fight was scheduled a while ahead

Floyd was under Top Rank when this fight happened. Arum wanted this fight, due to the money involved and it went ahead. So, if Arum really wanted to Floyd to fight Margarito or Cotto instead, this could easily have happened.

After Floyd won, the media started claiming Floyd hasn't fought a TRUE WW and he was ducking Baldomir,

Floyd said to Arum, I will fight Margarito if you secure me a multi million dollar deal fight against Cotto, Oscar and Hatton.

Arum said no way this will happen,

Floyd brought out of his contract and Arum still owed Floyd money from the Judah fight,

Floyd then signed to fight Baldomir for the lineal title, he was offered 8 million and half of the revenue, this is when Arum created the 8 million offer

Floyd did the right thing, he fought Baldomir won the ring title and fought against Oscar at 154 for a title and Hatton at 140

It was a win win situation,

The same Margarito only offered Winky a mere 1.5 million, Winky asked for 2 million, and Margarito and Top Rank refused and ducked him,

Very fair assessment of the situation. So far, I haven't seen any sort of credible rebuttal to these facts.

Hard to measure but one thing's for sure... Foyd did not fought a bigger 17 lbs opponent at a height and reach handicapped and yet, brutally rearranged his opponent's face. The Cotto and Tony fights are undeniably more exciting.
