I would rank P-Will and Martinez ahead of him. But, if they don't count as official JMW then yes I would consider him the best.

And, no hostility, I am just actually kind of tired of talking about this subject. I have given out facts numerous times on how and why Marg was the best WW at the time. To me if you honestly believe that Baldo was better than Marg than I just can't take you serious cuz you just didn't follow the WW division back then.

Lol. Since Margarito's handwraps scandal he has looked mediocre at best. He came into the Pacquiao fight with 6 losses and most of his past wins questionable. Also Cotto hasnt looked the same since the beat down Margs gave him (likely with handwraps). The reasons I stated for you are the reasons why Freddy Roach and team chose those fights for Pacquiao, Freddy even said it himself. Floyd fought Baldomir and Judah because those guys were actual belt holders at the time.

But one thing you can't deny is that Floyd ducked both Cotto and Margarito. End of story !

Actually the only person I think Floyd shouldve fought was Cotto. In retrospect opting not to fight Margarito was the right decision coming from a career perspective. Margarito wasnt nearly the star back then that he became after the Cotto win, and now Margs Cotto win is under su****ion.
