(Dan Rafael) Worst that PAC-Marg PPV will do is 1.25M buys according to Arum!

So lets not underrate the cult following that Marg brings. He might not be a world star, he might not be big draw, but he does have a loyal cult following that has always supported him and his track record when he fights big names proves it.
And that 'cult following' bought only 12-15K worth of PPVs for his last fight and were expected to help make the attendance in Dallas record-breaking, but the estimates fell short by 20-30K... meaning the promoters grossly overestimated Tony's following like you are doing right now. Arum probably figured Mexicans would show up in droves only because Tony himself is Mexican, but Clottey drew more people

The scandal destroyed his fan base and drawing ability.

What are you talking about? If Clottey drew more we wouldn't be talking over a mili buys.

And, you forgetting that Jerry Jones bought 30k tickets for Pac-Clottey. and Pac-Clottey did 41k. Take away the 30k that JJ bought that is 11k that fans bought. JJ didn't buy no 30k for this fight, all the tickets were sold legit. The 50k was a fabricated number.

So you add the 40k legit buys with maybe over a mili PPV buys then how was the fan base destroyed exactly?

Look if it did more than a mili, Pac is the effin man and a huge draw. If not on Floyd level then just right behind it. I am not questioning Pac drawing power. And, these numbers right here speak volumes to his drawing power. His numbers below LW speaks volumes to his drawing power. Check out the top 5 PPV buys below 135 and look how many times Pac name comes up that list. So Pac is the man right now.

However, stop underrating and underestimating the fans that Marg brings. cuz he is somewhat of a draw. He is no where near Floyd or Pac level, he is not on Cotto level, but he does have a cult following and these numbers prove it. If he didn't he would of brought up the same numbers that Clottey brought. So don't be ignorant.

You said it, so it must be true, right? Forget the fact that he has been out drawing Pac PPV & gates, right, or the fact that the bigger draw almost always gets the bigger purse. You said he is truly scared, so it is not FACT!

With that evidence, why wouldn't u remove FMJ name from your comment and add Pac's? It might seem more based in reality.

Yeah, i even got an HD streaming of the fight for free. Kinda like video kill the radio star ! 3 years from now, nobody gives a **** about this PPV sales, everything would be free in the net at high definition or even 3D !

I can't say I believe those numbers. That would be crazy... No legit number will come until Thursday/Friday. Any number that comes out right now is just guess.

My guess, and just a guess, it is somewhere between 900k-1mil... Don't have no facts or anything. Just a guess... But, that is still a successful PPV and add 40k in attendance that I think it would be so much of a success that I think it would be out of line for Floyd to ask for 60-40, maybe 55-45 but not 60-40. If the rumors are true and it does more than a mili than it has to be 50-50.

If it ever gets to that point, they'll just sign network TV deals.

But the fact remains, for every computer intelligent person like us, there are 1 thousand morons that pay for PPV. So their profits will continue for a while longer.
