Also...if the first or fourth round was 30 seconds longer, we might've witnessed a KO (first round in favor of Sergio, fourth in favor of PW).
Pwill is the skinniest BEAST I've ever seen.

Pwill is in my top 3 favorits right now, and Sergio is top 10. I think Pwill will be strong for this fight and word is that Serio really enjoyed himself since winning the title. He's still heavy as of this week. I don't think he'll be in shape for what Paul brings to the table (paul is also a guy who fights to the level of his comp and needs motivation which he has for this fight)

What worries me about Paul is his trainer- Peterson's quotes make me think he has a bit of JackLoewitis. He thinks Paul never needs to change anything or do anything different. He thinks their style will overcome anything and everything they face and that's just not the case. Paul has made some adjustments in fights, but it just seems like these are things that should have been implemented in camp, not on the fly. Does Peterson have the knowledge and skills as a coach to do this? I don't know.

The difference, again, will be williams' work rate. Judges love guys who keep throwing, and if the round is a toss up they tend to lean towards the guy who threw more.

I got pwilly by razor thin, debatable, decision again.
holy crap!!!! We agree on something!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm picking Martinez winning probably 8 rounds. After watching the first fight, which was close, I'm confident that Martinez will have a better gameplan this time. I see Martinez to have an easier time this time around adjusting to how Paul fights. This is mainly because Martinez has better footwork which will probably give him advantage and he can really utilize.

Really? I liked what Peterson said to him during the first fight. I think he's a good strategist and works the corner well between rounds. I just don't know about him teaching Paul the technical aspects. That boy's defense is atrocious. And it shouldn't be that way with his height and reach. But Peterson has been in the sport over 50 years and those DC gyms are no joke. We shall see.

BTW, I thought PW looked kinda big against Martinez, size-wise. I didn't notice that before but watching again, he wasn't so lanky. Thoughts?

I'm going with Martinez in a close bout, but I expect it to be the same excitement if not more than the first fight.

I think Martinez will win this time.

I don't think Williams can approach the fight with any other gameplan than the same one he did last time, while I think Martinez has the capacity to be more adaptable if he so choses. Like, he knows what's going to be in front of him come the 20th; the onus is on him to devise a better way to face it this time around.

And I have a gut feeling that we'll see Williams on Bambi legs at some point.

These two fighters are mentally strong. Williams uses smart pressure and Martinez has beautiful fast counters. Both have good chins and are resilient. 50/50 for me but if I had to pick I'll go with skill, Martinez by SD

By Loewitis, I wasn't referring to his in ring strategy under fire (which I should have also included in my head). I was talking about his techniques- especially defensively that he teaches paul in the gym. And his pre-fight gameplan (hands low vs some shorter/slower guys is different than another tall southpaw know for his speed).

I don't remember paul looking big in that fight, I can't ever recall thinking his legs looked anywhere near sturdy.

Pick' em fight. I think I lean towards the lanky fellow by decision, but no outcome would be surprising. Given the amount of good punches landed last time out a KO is also a big possibility.
