    Not the news story I wanted to read this morning. What the hell is Team Adamek thinking? Anyone who follows the sport avidly knows that this is a mismatch and a detriment to Jones Jr's health. The promoters should be ashamed of themselves for even considering this fight for a minute....

        well, couple things...

        one, I wish someone would intervene and put a stop to this. This fight isn't right and shouldn't be sanctioned, imo.

        second, adamek is kinda of a ***** for taking this fight. this is going backwards. He seemed like he was moving in the right direction slowly fighting better opposition then, his last opponent, even though not great, was a very big guy which led you to believe it was to get him ready for a big man like klitschko. this does nothing for the progression of adamek and does nothing to help him prepare for klitschko.

        third, cant blame jones here he's just a guy who's out to prove he's still got it, delusional or not

                    This would be a very bad Waste of time and training for Adamek if he takes this fight. Jones is soooo washed up right now that I think even amateur Heavyweights could easily dismantle him. Adamek by EARLY KO if the fight happens. Jones should not even be able to get sanctioning at this point. Terrible.

                        That's an overstatement. It's not like he is physically incapable or slurs like Toney and Holyfield. There are guys with 10 wins and 20 losses that still has a license, guys that just get beat up and knocked out against nobodys to get some money.

                            Post a link because there's no reason Vitali would turn down a fight with Adamek. Adamek doesn't have the power to trouble Vitali whatsoever.

                                Adamek was the one guy in the HW division that I started to cheer for, but if he does this then I will lose all respect for him as a fighter.
